Although <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/canada\/british-columbia\/burnaby-north-seymour-pipeline-1.5329623\">Terry was one of only two Liberal MPs to vote against the pipeline<\/a>, he later defended the Liberals\u2019 decision to buy it \u2014 despite the lack of Indigenous consent and his own statements <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/terryjamesbeech\/posts\/1560357670805569\">supporting reconciliation<\/a>.
