And if you haven\u2019t already, you can also check out our Tips &amp; Tools page with more information on how to make your fundraiser a big success.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Make it personal<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/1zKdxGDrWBhgJAQ3rk\" width=\"480\" height=\"360\" frameBorder=\"0\" class=\"giphy-embed\" allowFullScreen><\/iframe><p><\/p>\n\n<p>Upload a profile picture, write a message about why you\u2019re fundraising for Greenpeace, and post updates on your fundraising page. You can even record a video on your phone and upload it to your fundraiser. Whatever inspires you to fundraise will inspire others to donate, so make your fundraiser personal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Spread the message<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized caption-style-medium caption-alignment-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-canada-stateless\/2020\/10\/d056ddfd-giphy-12.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43526\" width=\"566\" height=\"566\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Print a poster from our <a href=\"https:\/\/fundraising.greenpeace.ca\/tips-and-tools\">Tips &amp; Tools<\/a> download and stick it up in your office, gym or community centre. Change your background on Zoom. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JX9mNfy6hMw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Print on a t-shirt<\/a> and wear it proudly. There are so many creative ways you can spread the message about your fundraiser and get the word out there to potential donors. You can also encourage people to give by promising your donors something if they donate \u2014 like uploading an embarrassing photo for every donation, or sending a homemade thank you gift to each donor. They also keep your donors in the loop on your progress to your goal. A lot of people probably mean to give to your fundraiser, but they might forget or decide to do it another time. Updates are a great way to remind people to give and to show what progress you\u2019re making!<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>Say thanks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized caption-style-medium caption-alignment-center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-canada-stateless\/2020\/10\/a19defd1-giphy-10.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-43530\" width=\"544\" height=\"390\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Saying \u201cthank you\u201d will make your donors feel like heroes \u2014 which they are. So make sure to share your thanks. You can even make it public by giving your donors special shout-outs on social media.
