Artistic Projection: Virtual Immersion into the Boreal forest<\/b><\/h2>\n

30 October 2018 (MONTREAL)<\/b> – <\/span>As part of the <\/span>International Day of Action for the Boreal Forest<\/b>, Greenpeace Canada invites you to a virtual immersion in the heart of the Canadian Boreal forest, thanks to a gigantic mural projection, right on the facade of the <\/span>Centre d\u2019histoire de Montr\u00e9al<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This interactive experience created by <\/span>HUB Studio<\/span><\/a> will be narrated by the Quebec actress Charlotte Aubin (Blue Moon, Those Who Make Revolution Halfway Only Dig Their Own Graves) and the actor Marc-Andr\u00e9 Grondin (CRAZY, Goon, The First Day of the Rest of Your Life) and will give people the opportunity to directly interact with the projected Northern Lights. The Montreal artist <\/span>Aliocha<\/span><\/a>, nominated in the ADISQ (<\/span>Qu\u00e9bec Association for the Recording, Concert and Video Industries) <\/span>in the categories “best English-language album” and “Quebec artist of the year with the most success outside of Quebec” will also be there in person to offer an intimate musical performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

For thousands of years, the Boreal forest has played a vital role in cleaning \u00a0our rivers, purifying our air and regulating our climate. Today however this ecosystem is threatened. The screening will be an opportunity for Greenpeace to raise awareness on the importance of this forest.<\/span><\/p>\n
