Greenpeace is calling on the makers of Oreo to stop buying palm oil from Wilmar, the biggest palm oil producer, who have destroyed 70,000 hectares of Indonesian rainforest in the last 2 years.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>We challenged Mondelez to cut Wilmar off for selling them dirty palm oil.<\/strong> But what happened was really inspiring. Mondelez and other brands told Wilmar it had to reform &#8211; and Wilmar saw the million plus people demanding change and knew they could not ignore us any longer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fgreenpeace.canada%2Fvideos%2F309033516367759%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=476\" width=\"476\" height=\"476\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>This is not over by any means<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Greenpeace will be closely watching to make sure Wilmar delivers.
