In December of last year, Canadians were shocked to learn that armoured vehicles built by a company headquartered in Ontario are being rushed to the U.S. for ICE tactical operations<\/a> \u2014 a deal so opaque that the government and manufacturer refuse to clarify where the vehicles are actually being produced or how the export was approved. Premier Doug Ford, who previously pledged to build \u201cFortress AM-CAN\u201d<\/a> to assist Trump in building his new \u201cGolden Age,\u201d gleefully welcomed the news<\/a> saying it was “Fantastic” and that Ontario will sell to anyone in the world. <\/p>\n\n

Then the story died down. That is, until one of the Trumps administration’s ICE agents shot and killed another peaceful community member in Minnesota and an Armoured Tank rolled up on the scene of the murder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
