Este a\u00f1o<strong> se usar\u00e1n menos combustibles f\u00f3siles para producir electricidad<\/strong> lo que constituir\u00e1 un <strong>punto de inflexi\u00f3n<\/strong> en busca de fuentes de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s amigables con el planeta. As\u00ed lo difundi\u00f3 un nuevo Informe de Electricidad Global realizado por Ember en base a datos de pa\u00edses que representan 93% de la demanda de electricidad mundial.<\/p>\n\n<p>De confirmarse este pron\u00f3stico, <strong>estar\u00edamos frente a la primera vez que se da una baja anual del uso de carb\u00f3n, gas y petr\u00f3leo para generar electricidad<\/strong> (sin contar la recesi\u00f3n que gener\u00f3 la pandemia, claro). Adem\u00e1s, resaltan que<strong> la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica y solar ya contribuyen en el 12% del total de la producci\u00f3n de electricidad global<\/strong> y que en 2022 se instalaron suficientes turbinas como para abastecer a todo Reino Unido.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>El crecimiento de las energ\u00edas solar y e\u00f3lica se consolidan por ser<strong> cada vez m\u00e1s convenientes econ\u00f3micamente<\/strong>. Porque <strong>las emisiones de carbono del sector continuaron creciendo<\/strong>, al igual que el uso de carb\u00f3n. En Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe,<strong> Chile (28 %) registr\u00f3 los porcentajes m\u00e1s altos de las energ\u00edas e\u00f3lica y solar<\/strong>, junto con Uruguay (36 %) .
