Takova\u0301 metrika umoz\u030cn\u030cuje pojedna\u0301vat i r\u030ci\u0301dce stoji\u0301ci\u0301 stromy napr\u030ci\u0301klad na pastvina\u0301ch. Za les se takova\u0301 u\u0301zemi\u0301 (<a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biom\">biomy<\/a>) nepovaz\u030cuji\u0301, pokud koruny zakry\u0301vaji\u0301 me\u0301ne\u030c nez\u030c 10 % rozlohy u\u0301zemi\u0301. Vys\u030clo jim, z\u030ce potencia\u0301lni\u0301 pu\u030adorys korun by mohl by\u0301t 4,4 miliardy hektaru\u030a, pr\u030cic\u030cemz\u030c nyne\u030cjs\u030ci\u0301 c\u030cini\u0301 2,8 miliardy hektaru\u030a. Jako c\u030casovy\u0301 horizont dosaz\u030ceni\u0301 takove\u0301ho stavu zmin\u030cuji\u0301 \u201eit would take several decades for forests to reach maturity\u201c, \u201ezabralo by ne\u030ckolik desetileti\u0301, nez\u030c by lesy dosa\u0301hly zralosti\u201c. To mu\u030az\u030ce by\u0301t pro mnohe\u0301 biomy podcene\u030cne\u0301, napr\u030ci\u0301klad v c\u030cesky\u0301ch lesi\u0301ch je to <a href=\"https:\/\/ldf.mendelu.cz\/uzpl\/pestovani_v_heslech\/vychodiska\/struktura\/strukt_rust_stupne.html\">ve\u030cts\u030cinou nad 80 let<\/a>. Da\u0301le pouz\u030cili u\u0301daje, kolik uhli\u0301ku je v takovy\u0301ch biomech na plos\u030ce zakryte\u0301 korunami: v nadzemni\u0301 c\u030ca\u0301sti stromu\u030a, v jejich kor\u030cenove\u0301m syste\u0301mu, v mrtve\u0301m dr\u030ceve\u030c pod nimi, v opadu a v pu\u030ade\u030c. Pro ru\u030azne\u0301 typy biomu\u030a v chra\u0301ne\u030cny\u0301ch oblastech uz\u030ci\u0301vali hodnoty od zhruba 150 do 280 tun na hektar (tabulka S2 volne\u030c <a href=\"https:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/suppl\/2019\/07\/02\/365.6448.76.DC1\">dostupny\u0301ch Supplementary Materials<\/a>). Dospe\u030cli tak k tomu, z\u030ce nove\u0301 stromy by mohly uloz\u030cit az\u030c 200 Gt, c\u030cili dve\u030c ste\u030c miliard tun uhli\u0301ku. Pr\u030citom nebrali v u\u0301vahu, kolik uhli\u0301ku je pod moz\u030cny\u0301mi novy\u0301mi korunami v pu\u030ada\u0301ch jiz\u030c nyni\u0301, jen ve c\u030cla\u0301nku upozornili, z\u030ce napr\u030ci\u0301klad pr\u030ci\u0301rodni\u0301 travnate\u0301 biomy jsou cenne\u0301 biodiverzitou i uloz\u030ceny\u0301m uhli\u0301kem a z\u030ce jejich zalesn\u030cova\u0301ni\u0301 je nutno velmi zvaz\u030covat. Takto vypoc\u030ci\u0301tany\u0301 potencia\u0301l porovna\u0301vaji\u0301 s ti\u0301m, kolik uhli\u0301ku dosud pr\u030cibylo lidskou c\u030cinnosti\u0301 v atmosfe\u0301r\u030ce \u2013 zaokrouhlene\u030c 300 Gt. Nazy\u0301vaji\u0301 to ovs\u030cem \u201eglobal anthropogenic carbon burden\u201c, \u201egloba\u0301lni\u0301 antropogenni\u0301 uhli\u0301kova\u0301 za\u0301te\u030cz\u030c\u201c, coz\u030c je zava\u0301de\u030cji\u0301ci\u0301. Lidstvo totiz\u030c od pru\u030amyslove\u0301 revoluce emitovalo na 600 Gt uhli\u0301ku, coz\u030c je ta skutec\u030cna\u0301 za\u0301te\u030cz\u030c syste\u0301mu atmosfe\u0301ra-biosfe\u0301ra-ocea\u0301ny, ktera\u0301 je nas\u030ci\u0301m proble\u0301mem do budoucnosti. Hodnota 200 Gt je pr\u030citom velmi podobna\u0301 tomu, co lidstvo od 1750 do 2017 odlesn\u030cova\u0301ni\u0301m a hospodar\u030ceni\u0301m s pu\u030adami do ovzdus\u030ci\u0301 uvolnilo: 235 \u00b1 95 Gt (tabulka 8 pra\u0301ce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.earth-syst-sci-data.net\/10\/2141\/2018\/\">Global Carbon Budget 2018<\/a>); z fosilni\u0301ch paliv to bylo alespon\u030c 400 Gt.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Tyto vy\u0301sledky poc\u030ci\u0301tali pro \u201esouc\u030casne\u0301 klima\u201c, coz\u030c je pro takove\u0301 modelova\u0301ni\u0301 klima v obdobi\u0301 1970 az\u030c 2000 c\u030ci 1960 az\u030c 1990, viz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldclim.org\">https:\/\/www.worldclim.org\/<\/a>. Nejde o skutec\u030cne\u030c souc\u030casne\u0301 klima na konci druhe\u0301 deka\u0301dy tr\u030ceti\u0301ho tisi\u0301cileti\u0301, ktere\u0301 jiz\u030c vede az\u030c k rozpadu lesu\u030a ve str\u030cedni\u0301 Evrope\u030c i jinde. Rychlou prome\u030cnu klimatu oproti minulosti proto vzali v u\u0301vahu pro sve\u0301 tr\u030ceti\u0301 podstatne\u0301 sde\u030cleni\u0301: kolik hektaru\u030a potencia\u0301lni\u0301ho pu\u030adorysu korun by ubylo do roku 2050 pr\u030ci oteplova\u0301ni\u0301 dle zati\u0301mni\u0301ho ru\u030astu emisi\u0301 skleni\u0301kovy\u0301ch plynu\u030a. Dospe\u030cli k u\u0301daji 200 milionu\u030a hektaru\u030a a ke ztra\u0301te\u030c uloz\u030cene\u0301ho uhli\u0301ku 46 Gt. Druhou polovinu nas\u030ceho stoleti\u0301 jiz\u030c za\u0301me\u030crne\u030c nemodelovali. Uva\u0301de\u030cji\u0301, z\u030ce tento u\u0301daj neni\u0301 projekce vy\u0301voje, neb neuvaz\u030cuje zpe\u030ctne\u0301 vazby vyvolane\u0301 zme\u030cnou lesni\u0301ho pokryvu krajiny. Je te\u0301z\u030c nutno dodat, z\u030ce modely se opi\u0301raly jen o pru\u030ame\u030crne\u0301 me\u030csi\u0301c\u030cni\u0301 hodnoty zejme\u0301na mi\u0301stni\u0301ch sra\u0301z\u030cek a teplotni\u0301ch maxim, minim a pru\u030ame\u030cru\u030a. Skutec\u030cny\u0301 u\u0301bytek stromu\u030a ale za\u0301visi\u0301 zejme\u0301na na extre\u0301mech, disturbanci\u0301ch jako jsou vy\u0301jimec\u030cna\u0301 sucha, horka, poz\u030ca\u0301ry a gradace hmyzi\u0301ch parazitu\u030a. I kdyby do sta let plocha pod novy\u0301mi korunami stromu\u030a opravdu dosa\u0301hla te\u0301me\u030cr\u030c deseti milio\u0301nu\u030a c\u030ctverec\u030cni\u0301ch kilometru\u030a a uloz\u030cilo by se tak 200 Gt uhli\u0301ku, znamenalo by to pru\u030ame\u030crne\u0301 tempo ukla\u0301da\u0301ni\u0301 jen 2 Gt roc\u030cne\u030c. Srovnejme to se souc\u030casny\u0301mi antropogenni\u0301mi emisemi, ktere\u0301 c\u030cini\u0301 <strong>11 Gt roc\u030cne\u030c<\/strong>. Pr\u030citom by nepochybne\u030c v prvni\u0301ch desi\u0301tka\u0301ch let bylo mens\u030ci\u0301. Doopravdy je ale i takove\u0301 tempo nerea\u0301lne\u0301. Napr\u030ci\u0301klad za\u0301me\u030crne\u0301 zalesn\u030cova\u0301ni\u0301 seversky\u0301ch mokr\u030cadni\u0301ch oblasti\u0301 je zcela nez\u030ca\u0301douci\u0301, v pu\u030ada\u0301ch je tam giganticke\u0301 mnoz\u030cstvi\u0301 uhli\u0301ku, jehoz\u030c c\u030ca\u0301st se pr\u030ci oteplova\u0301ni\u0301 uvolni\u0301 do ovzdus\u030ci\u0301. Zalesne\u030cni\u0301 by tam pr\u030cispe\u030clo k nez\u030ca\u0301douci\u0301mu otepleni\u0301 globa\u0301lni\u0301mu i tamni\u0301ch pu\u030ad, protoz\u030ce by sni\u0301z\u030cilo albedo krajiny \u2013 mi\u0301sto zasne\u030cz\u030ceny\u0301ch pla\u0301ni\u0301 by tam byl tmavy\u0301 les pohlcuji\u0301ci\u0301 slunec\u030cni\u0301 za\u0301r\u030ceni\u0301. A uhli\u0301ku by novy\u0301 les oproti souc\u030casne\u0301mu stavu nepr\u030cidal do krajiny nic.<\/p>\n<p>C\u030cla\u0301nek ve skutec\u030cnosti neposunul pr\u030cedchozi\u0301 odhady moz\u030cnosti\u0301 odebi\u0301ra\u0301ni\u0301 uhli\u0301ku z ovzdus\u030ci\u0301 prostr\u030cednictvi\u0301m novy\u0301ch stromu\u030a, jak je uva\u0301di\u0301 zpra\u0301va IPCC ze r\u030ci\u0301jna 2018 v c\u030ca\u0301sti 4.3.7.2 Afforestation and reforestation (AR) na str. 343: \u201e The full literature range gives 2050 potentials of 1\u20137 GtCO2 yr\u22121 (low evidence, medium agreement), narrowed down to 0.5\u20133.6 GtCO2 yr\u22121 based on a number of constraints\u201c. Text IPCC take\u0301 upozorn\u030cuje na nebezpec\u030ci\u0301 sni\u0301z\u030ceni\u0301 albeda a pravde\u030cpodobne\u0301 disturbance (sucha, poz\u030ca\u0301ry, s\u030cku\u030adci).<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Pra\u0301ce v Science se emisemi nezaby\u0301va\u0301, autor\u030ci ovs\u030cem ve svy\u0301ch dals\u030ci\u0301ch vyja\u0301dr\u030ceni\u0301ch zdu\u030arazn\u030cuji\u0301, z\u030ce to rozhoduji\u0301ci\u0301 je ony emise stlac\u030cit co nejdr\u030ci\u0301ve k nule. Nejen ty z odlesn\u030cova\u0301ni\u0301, ktere\u0301 zati\u0301m zcela pr\u030cevaz\u030cuje nad zalesn\u030cova\u0301ni\u0301m, ale pr\u030cedevs\u030ci\u0301m emise z fosilni\u0301ch paliv. Dals\u030ci\u0301 gigatuny, ktere\u0301 jes\u030cte\u030c do ovzdus\u030ci\u0301 vypusti\u0301me, nepu\u030ajde v tomto stoleti\u0301 rea\u0301lne\u030c ze syste\u0301mu atmosfe\u0301ra-biosfe\u0301ra-ocea\u0301ny odstranit. Pu\u030ajde-li ne\u030cco z nich do hojne\u030cjs\u030ci\u0301ch novy\u0301ch stromu\u030a, o to me\u0301ne\u030c se rozpusti\u0301 v ocea\u0301nech, v nichz\u030c sice s\u030ckodi\u0301 jejich okyselova\u0301ni\u0301m, ale uz\u030c nepr\u030cispi\u0301vaji\u0301 k otepleni\u0301. C\u030cili odebra\u0301ni\u0301m jedne\u0301 gigatuny prostr\u030cednictvi\u0301m na\u0301mi \u201ezar\u030ci\u0301zeny\u0301ch\u201c stromu\u030a se naopak neodebere napr\u030ci\u0301klad c\u030ctvrt gigatuny ocea\u0301nem (podrobne\u030c ve c\u030cla\u0301nku z r. 2016, <a href=\"https:\/\/iopscience.iop.org\/article\/10.1088\/1748-9326\/11\/9\/095012\">Simulating the Earth system response to negative emissions<\/a>). We should not do that with monocultures but carefully, close to nature and sustainably, in order to reap various additional benefits of forests on local climate, biodiversity, water cycle and even as a food source. But we must not fall for illusions about how many billions of tons of CO2 this will take out of the atmosphere. And certainly not for the illusion that this will buy us time before abandoning fossil fuel use. Nesmi\u0301me vs\u030cak upadnout do iluzi\u0301 o tom, kolik miliard tun CO2 to ubere z atmosfe\u0301ry.
