D\u00edky jejich jedine\u010dn\u00fdm vlastnostem si \u017eivot bez nich dovede p\u0159edstavit jen m\u00e1lokdo. Jsou levn\u00e9, trvanliv\u00e9, tv\u00e1rn\u00e9, lehk\u00e9, pevn\u00e9 a\u00a0odoln\u00e9. S\u00a0nads\u00e1zkou by se dalo \u0159\u00edct, jak mohlo lidstvo bez tak dokonal\u00e9ho materi\u00e1lu ty tis\u00edce let v\u016fbec p\u0159e\u017e\u00edt. Skv\u011bl\u00e9 p\u0159ednosti plast\u016f se proti n\u00e1m ale za\u010d\u00ednaj\u00ed obracet. Plastov\u00fdm odpadem a\u00a0jeho mikro\u010d\u00e1sticemi jsme doslova zahltili celou na\u0161i planetu. Od nejodlehlej\u0161\u00edch arktick\u00fdch oblast\u00ed p\u0159es nejhlub\u0161\u00ed m\u00edsta v\u00a0oce\u00e1nu po vzduch, kter\u00fd d\u00fdch\u00e1me, vodu, kterou pijeme, a\u00a0p\u016fdu, kter\u00e1 n\u00e1m d\u00e1v\u00e1 ob\u017eivu.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>V\u011bdeck\u00e1 zji\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed potvrzuj\u00ed nedoz\u00edrn\u00fd rozm\u011br plastov\u00e9 krize, jen\u017ee \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed je v\u00a0nedohlednu. U\u017e dnes je jasn\u00e9, \u017ee pro pouh\u00e9 zpomalen\u00ed zahlcov\u00e1n\u00ed na\u0161\u00ed planety plastem jsou nutn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e9 regulace a\u00a0omezen\u00ed (p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm) jednor\u00e1zov\u00fdch plast\u016f a\u00a0tak\u00e9 zm\u011bna spot\u0159ebitelsk\u00fdch n\u00e1vyk\u016f a\u00a0p\u0159\u00edstupu k\u00a0vlastn\u00edmu sebeomezov\u00e1n\u00ed. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 mus\u00edme doufat, \u017ee d\u00edky inovac\u00edm budou rychle dostupn\u00e9 udr\u017eiteln\u00e9 alternativy. Pl\u00e1n na brzk\u00e9 vy\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed planety, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm oce\u00e1n\u016f, kde plasty u\u017e te\u010f negativn\u011b ovliv\u0148uj\u00ed \u017eivot pod hladinou i\u00a0nad n\u00ed, je z\u00a0dne\u0161n\u00edho pohledu zat\u00edm sci-fi p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhem.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-czech-republic-stateless\/2018\/10\/986d7f91-986d7f91-137969_247235.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>:. Kv\u016fli plastov\u00e9mu zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed hynou ro\u010dn\u011b statis\u00edce mo\u0159sk\u00fdch savc\u016f, \u017eelv a\u00a0dal\u0161\u00edch \u017eivo\u010dich\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed se do zbytku plast\u016f zamotaj\u00ed nebo je poz\u0159ou jako potravu.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mo\u0159e pro plasty, ne pro ryby<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Lidstvo od doby, kdy Alexander Parkers v\u00a0roce 1862 p\u0159edstavil prvn\u00ed plast Parkesin,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/a2larm.cz\/2018\/05\/plasty-vraci-uder\/advances.sciencemag.org\/content\/3\/7\/e1700782\">vyprodukovalo v\u00edce ne\u017e 8,3 miliardy<\/a>\u00a0tun plastu. Naprost\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina z\u00a0toho \u2013 6,3 miliardy \u2013 se stala odpadem a\u00a0z\u00a0toho op\u011bt naprost\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina skon\u010dila zp\u00e1tky v\u00a0\u017eivotn\u00edm prost\u0159ed\u00ed. Pro ilustraci, takov\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed plastov\u00e9ho odpadu by pokrylo plochu o\u00a0rozloze Argentiny do v\u00fd\u0161ky kotn\u00edk\u016f. Jen mal\u00e1 \u010d\u00e1st odpadu (dev\u011bt procent) byla recyklov\u00e1na, dal\u0161\u00edch zhruba dvan\u00e1ct procent prol\u00edtlo kom\u00ednem spaloven. Snad je\u0161t\u011b d\u011bsiv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e \u00fadaje o\u00a0doposud vyprodukovan\u00e9m plastov\u00e9m odpadu je trend, jak\u00fdm se ka\u017edoro\u010dn\u011b navy\u0161uje produkce plast\u016f. Z\u00a0celkov\u00e9ho objemu p\u0159ipad\u00e1 v\u00edce ne\u017e polovina na posledn\u00edch zhruba patn\u00e1ct let.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00a0roce 1950 byla ro\u010dn\u00ed produkce okolo dvou milion\u016f tun ro\u010dn\u011b, dnes je to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-czech-republic-stateless\/2018\/10\/e1700782.full.pdf\">v\u00edce ne\u017e \u010dty\u0159i sta milion\u016f tun<\/a>. Pokud se st\u00e1vaj\u00edc\u00ed trend nezm\u011bn\u00ed, skon\u010d\u00ed do roku 2050 na skl\u00e1dk\u00e1ch nebo v\u00a0p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b dal\u0161\u00edch dvan\u00e1ct miliard tun plast\u016f. Nemal\u00e1 \u010d\u00e1st z\u00a0toho op\u011bt v\u00a0oce\u00e1nech. Tam se podle nejnov\u011bj\u0161\u00edch \u00fadaj\u016f dost\u00e1v\u00e1\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/science.sciencemag.org\/content\/347\/6223\/768.full\">osm a\u017e dvan\u00e1ct milion\u016f<\/a>\u00a0tun plast\u016f ro\u010dn\u011b, pro lep\u0161\u00ed p\u0159edstavu je to patn\u00e1ct pln\u00fdch igelitek plast\u016f na jeden metr pob\u0159e\u017e\u00ed v\u0161ech mo\u0159\u00ed a\u00a0oce\u00e1n\u016f. Situace se zhor\u0161uje geometrickou \u0159adou. V\u00a0roce 2025 to bude t\u0159icet pln\u00fdch igelitek na metr pob\u0159e\u017e\u00ed. To mimo jin\u00e9 znamen\u00e1, \u017ee p\u0159i nezm\u011bn\u011bn\u00e9m tempu m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt v\u00a0druh\u00e9 polovin\u011b 21.\u00a0stolet\u00ed v\u00edce plast\u016f ne\u017e ryb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Na hladin\u011b i\u00a0u\u00a0dna<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stoj\u00ed za to se na plasty pod hladinou pod\u00edvat pe\u010dliv\u011bji, proto\u017ee n\u00e1zorn\u011b vykresluj\u00ed slo\u017eitost a\u00a0rozm\u011br cel\u00e9ho probl\u00e9mu. Jak se tak obrovsk\u00e9 mno\u017estv\u00ed plastov\u00e9ho odpadu do oce\u00e1n\u016f vlastn\u011b dost\u00e1v\u00e1? To je patrn\u011b prvn\u00ed v\u011bc, kter\u00e1 \u010dlov\u011bka napadne, kdy\u017e se o\u00a0probl\u00e9mu dozv\u00ed. Zdroj\u016f je mnoho, stejn\u011b jako je mnoho r\u016fzn\u00fdch druh\u016f a\u00a0velikost\u00ed plast\u016f. Naprost\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina z\u00a0nich se do oce\u00e1n\u016f dost\u00e1v\u00e1 z\u00a0pevniny, odhaduje se, \u017ee je to a\u017e\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecowatch.com\/80-of-ocean-plastic-comes-from-land-based-sources-new-report-finds-1891173457.html\">osmdes\u00e1t procent<\/a>, z\u00a0toho v\u011bt\u0161inu p\u0159inesou \u0159eky, kter\u00e9 jsou st\u00e1le v\u00a0mnoha oblastech (a\u00a0nejen t\u011bch m\u00e9n\u011b rozvinut\u00fdch) vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1ny jako odpadkov\u00fd ko\u0161. Dal\u0161\u00ed porci odpadu maj\u00ed na sv\u011bdom\u00ed pov\u011btrnostn\u00ed vlivy, kter\u00e9 jednodu\u0161e smyj\u00ed \u010di odnesou plastov\u00fd odpad z\u00a0pl\u00e1\u017e\u00ed a\u00a0pob\u0159e\u017en\u00edch oblast\u00ed. V\u00a0t\u00e9to souvislosti je dobr\u00e9 si p\u0159ipomenout, \u017ee skoro polovina plastov\u00e9ho dopadu tvo\u0159\u00ed jednor\u00e1zov\u00e9 obalov\u00e9 plasty (obaly, ta\u0161ky, lahve, n\u00e1doby, kel\u00edmky, br\u010dka a\u00a0tak podobn\u011b).<\/p>\n<p>Naprost\u00e1 v\u011bt\u0161ina velk\u00e9ho plastov\u00e9ho odpadu se do oce\u00e1n\u016f dost\u00e1v\u00e1 v\u00a0oblastech se \u0161patn\u00fdm odpadov\u00fdm hospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00edm, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm v\u00a0Asii, Africe. Plasty se ale do oce\u00e1n\u016f dost\u00e1vaj\u00ed nejen ve form\u011b zma\u010dkan\u00fdch PET lahv\u00ed, kel\u00edmk\u016f nebo uma\u0161t\u011bn\u00fdch obalu od bramb\u016frk\u016f, ale i\u00a0jako takzvan\u00e9 mikroplasty, tedy plastov\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dky men\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e p\u011bt milimetr\u016f. Sta\u010d\u00ed pou\u017e\u00edt zubn\u00ed pastu nebo jinou kosmetiku, kter\u00e1 obsahuje mikroplasty, pustit kohoutek a\u00a0m\u00e1te nemalou \u0161anci, \u017ee jste vyslali n\u011bkolik des\u00edtek plastov\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dek do Severn\u00edho, \u010cern\u00e9ho nebo Baltsk\u00e9ho mo\u0159e. P\u0159i pran\u00ed syntetick\u00e9ho pr\u00e1dla to m\u016f\u017ee b\u00fdt n\u011bkolik stovek tis\u00edc plastov\u00fdch vl\u00e1k\u00e9nek, kter\u00e9 projdou \u010dist\u00edrnou odpadn\u00edch vod a\u00a0pluj\u00ed vst\u0159\u00edc mo\u0159sk\u00fdm vln\u00e1m.<\/p>\n<p>Zdroj\u016f mikroplast\u016f je daleko v\u00edce \u2013 od od\u011bru pneumatik p\u0159es opot\u0159ebov\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed vodorovn\u00e9ho dopravn\u00edho zna\u010den\u00ed po syntetick\u00e9 vosky. Zbytek plastov\u00e9ho odpadu se do mo\u0159e dost\u00e1v\u00e1 z\u00a0lod\u00ed, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm jde o\u00a0zbytky ryb\u00e1\u0159sk\u00e9ho vybaven\u00ed, cht\u011bn\u00e9 i\u00a0necht\u011bn\u00e9 \u00faniky plastov\u00e9ho odpadu, kter\u00fd se na lod\u00edch voz\u00ed, nebo t\u0159eba \u00faniky plastov\u00fdch granul\u00ed p\u0159i nehod\u00e1ch.<\/p>\n<p>Do oce\u00e1n\u016f se tak dost\u00e1v\u00e1 cel\u00e1 \u0161k\u00e1la plast\u016f r\u016fzn\u00fdch velikost\u00ed, kter\u00e1 se v\u00a0oce\u00e1nech i\u00a0r\u016fzn\u011b chov\u00e1. V\u011bt\u0161\u00ed kusy plast\u016f jsou n\u00e1chyln\u011bj\u0161\u00ed k\u00a0degradaci pomoc\u00ed UV z\u00e1\u0159en\u00ed a\u00a0pom\u011brn\u011b rychle se, vzhledem k\u00a0jejich celkov\u00e9 \u017eivotnosti, rozpadaj\u00ed na men\u0161\u00ed a\u00a0men\u0161\u00ed \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dky, a\u017e se z\u00a0nich stanou mikroplasty. \u010c\u00edm v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed hustotu plasty maj\u00ed, t\u00edm v\u00edce se potop\u00ed. Ty s\u00a0men\u0161\u00ed hustotou jako polyethylen, polypropylen \u010di expandovan\u00fd polystyren se vzn\u00e1\u0161ej\u00ed u\u00a0hladiny a\u00a0v\u00a0horn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti vodn\u00edho sloupce. Polyamid, nylon a\u00a0polystyren se pohybuj\u00ed pod hladinou, zat\u00edmco PET lahve nebo PVC klesaj\u00ed ke dnu. Nach\u00e1zej\u00ed se tak ve v\u0161ech hloubk\u00e1ch, nalezeny byly i\u00a0v\u00a0\u00fapln\u011b nejhlub\u0161\u00edm m\u00edst\u011b na sv\u011bt\u011b \u2013 Mari\u00e1nsk\u00e9m p\u0159\u00edkopu. Kv\u016fli kles\u00e1n\u00ed ke dnu i\u00a0kv\u016fli mo\u0159sk\u00fdm proud\u016fm se plasty dost\u00e1vaj\u00ed do t\u011bch nejodlehlej\u0161\u00edch oblast\u00ed, co\u017e prakticky vylu\u010duje mo\u017enost v\u00a0dohledn\u00e9 dob\u011b oce\u00e1ny jak\u00fdmkoli zp\u016fsobem t\u00e9to z\u00e1t\u011b\u017ee zbavit. Hlavn\u00edm \u00fakolem lidstva je tak alespo\u0148 urychlen\u011b zastavit zne\u010di\u0161\u0165ov\u00e1n\u00ed oce\u00e1n\u016f.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-czech-republic-stateless\/2018\/10\/28b2c288-28b2c288-137970_247237.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Kv\u016fli plastov\u00e9mu zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed hynou ro\u010dn\u011b statis\u00edce mo\u0159sk\u00fdch savc\u016f, \u017eelv a\u00a0dal\u0161\u00edch \u017eivo\u010dich\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed se do zbytku plast\u016f zamotaj\u00ed nebo je poz\u0159ou jako potravu. Zvl\u00e1\u0161t\u011b nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9 jsou plasty pro mo\u0159sk\u00e9 pt\u00e1ky: nach\u00e1z\u00edme je ve st\u0159evech a\u017e devades\u00e1ti procent z\u00a0nich. Je\u0161t\u011b d\u011bsiv\u011bj\u0161\u00ed je vliv mikroplast\u016f. Nejen\u017ee jsou rybami \u010dasto zam\u011bn\u011bny za potravu, ale nav\u00edc mnohdy obsahuj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e1 toxick\u00e1 aditiva nebo vst\u0159eb\u00e1vaj\u00ed nebezpe\u010dn\u00e9 l\u00e1tky jako DDT, ftal\u00e1ty, bisfenol A\u00a0z\u00a0mo\u0159e a\u00a0ty pak negativn\u011b ovliv\u0148uj\u00ed ty, kte\u0159\u00ed je poz\u0159ou. Kapitolu samu o\u00a0sob\u011b p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed nanoplasty, kter\u00e9 dokonce dok\u00e1\u017eou prostupovat bun\u011b\u010dnou st\u011bnou organismu.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plastov\u00e1 planeta<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plastov\u00e9 zne\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed se samoz\u0159ejm\u011b neomezuje na mo\u0159e a\u00a0oce\u00e1ny, mikroplastov\u00e1 vl\u00e1kna jsou p\u0159\u00edtomna ve vod\u011b, kterou pijeme, vzduchu, kter\u00fd d\u00fdch\u00e1me, objevena byla v\u00a0pivu, medu i\u00a0sladkovodn\u00edch ryb\u00e1ch. \u010casovanou bombou mohou b\u00fdt zem\u011bd\u011blsk\u00e9 p\u016fdy, hnojen\u00e9 \u010dist\u00edrensk\u00fdmi kaly, ve kter\u00fdch se \u010d\u00e1st mikroplast\u016f z\u00a0odpadn\u00edch vod usazuje. Negativn\u00ed vliv mikroplast\u016f na zdrav\u00ed lid\u00ed \u2013 na rozd\u00edl od ryb \u2013 prok\u00e1z\u00e1n nebyl. Alespo\u0148 zat\u00edm\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Plasty jsou samoz\u0159ejm\u011b problematick\u00e9 z\u00a0mnoha jin\u00fdch ohled\u016f, \u010dasto obsahuj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e1 nebezpe\u010dn\u00e1 aditiva a\u00a0stabiliz\u00e1tory jako bisfenoly A\u00a0a\u00a0S\u00a0\u010di ftal\u00e1ty, vyr\u00e1b\u011bj\u00ed se z\u00a0valn\u00e9 \u010d\u00e1sti z\u00a0neobnoviteln\u00fdch zdroj\u016f, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm zemn\u00edho plynu a\u00a0ropy. Ov\u0161em i\u00a0tak ke v\u011bt\u0161in\u011b plastov\u00fdch v\u00fdrobk\u016f nem\u00e1me zat\u00edm \u0161etrn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed alternativu. Pokud se porovn\u00e1v\u00e1 \u017eivotn\u00ed cyklus jednotliv\u00fdch materi\u00e1l\u016f (LCA), sta\u010d\u00ed, kdy\u017e igelitku nebo mikrotenov\u00fd s\u00e1\u010dek pou\u017eijete n\u011bkolikr\u00e1t a\u00a0z\u00a0pohledu celkov\u00e9 ekologick\u00e9 stopy vyhr\u00e1vaj\u00ed nad dal\u0161\u00edmi materi\u00e1ly.<\/p>\n<p>I u\u00a0nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed environment\u00e1ln\u00ed hrozby dne\u0161ka, zm\u011bny klimatu, zn\u00e1me jak p\u0159\u00ed\u010diny, tedy p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm spalov\u00e1n\u00ed fosiln\u00edch zdroj\u016f a\u00a0vypou\u0161t\u011bn\u00ed sklen\u00edkov\u00fdch plyn\u016f, tak \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed \u2013 vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed obnoviteln\u00fdch zdroj\u016f. U\u00a0plastov\u00e9 krize podobn\u00e9 technologick\u00e9 \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed nezn\u00e1me. N\u011bkter\u00e9 zn\u00e1m\u00e9 alternativy n\u00e1s zavedly do slep\u00e9 uli\u010dky, to je p\u0159\u00edpad rozlo\u017eiteln\u00fdch (nekompostovateln\u00fdch) plast\u016f, kter\u00e9 se pomoc\u00ed speci\u00e1ln\u00edho aditiva po \u010dase rozpadnou, ov\u0161em jen na mikroplasty, kter\u00e9 setrvaj\u00ed v\u00a0prost\u0159ed\u00ed dal\u0161\u00ed des\u00edtky let. Posledn\u00ed studie uk\u00e1zaly, \u017ee i\u00a0kompostovateln\u00e9 plasty maj\u00ed sv\u00e9 stinn\u00e9 str\u00e1nky (n\u00e1ro\u010dn\u00e1 v\u00fdroba, schopnost degradace jen za vysok\u00fdch teplot a\u00a0v\u00a0pr\u016fmyslov\u00fdch kompost\u00e1rn\u00e1ch atd.) a\u00a0zat\u00edm je nelze ozna\u010dit za plnohodnotnou \u0161etrn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed alternativu. Recyklace mus\u00ed b\u00fdt samoz\u0159ejmost\u00ed, ale je to jen dopln\u011bk \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Zat\u00edm jedin\u00fdm a\u00a0nevyhnuteln\u00fdm \u0159e\u0161en\u00edm je omezen\u00ed spot\u0159eby plast\u016f, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm t\u011bch jednor\u00e1zov\u00fdch, kter\u00e9 n\u00e1m b\u011bhem n\u011bkolika des\u00edtek sekund projdou rukama a\u00a0st\u00e1vaj\u00ed se odpadem. Ka\u017edou minutu se na sv\u011bt\u011b vyprodukuje milion PET lahv\u00ed. Skute\u010dn\u011b je v\u0161echny pot\u0159ebujeme? Mus\u00edme j\u00edst j\u00eddlo plastovou l\u017ei\u010dkou, vyrobenou na druh\u00e9m konci planety? Jednor\u00e1zov\u00e9 plasty a\u00a0obaly, jak ji\u017e bylo \u0159e\u010deno, p\u0159edstavuj\u00ed \u010dty\u0159icet procent ve\u0161ker\u00e9ho plastov\u00e9ho odpadu. Zde je t\u0159eba za\u010d\u00edt.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00fdchoz\u00ed pozice pro zm\u011bnu nen\u00ed \u0161patn\u00e1, m\u016f\u017eeme op\u011bt pou\u017e\u00edt analogii se zm\u011bnou klimatu: Nikdo nerozporuje rozsah plastov\u00e9 krize, dokonce politici i\u00a0korporace uzn\u00e1vaj\u00ed z\u00e1va\u017enost probl\u00e9mu a\u00a0hledaj\u00ed \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed, p\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b o\u00a0tom alespo\u0148 hovo\u0159\u00ed. Vlastn\u011b nemaj\u00ed moc na v\u00fdb\u011br, proto\u017ee na rozd\u00edl od jin\u00fdch environment\u00e1ln\u00edch probl\u00e9m\u016f, ve\u0159ejn\u00e9 m\u00edn\u011bn\u00ed je v\u00a0tomto ohledu po cel\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b v\u00edcem\u00e9n\u011b jednotn\u00e9 a\u00a0jednor\u00e1zov\u00e9 plasty jsou vn\u00edm\u00e1ny jako \u2013 mnohdy nutn\u00e9 \u2013 zlo.
