About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated, analytically minded and results-oriented Fundraising Coordinator to join GPGR. This pivotal role will focus on deepening relationships with our existing individual donors, maximizing their lifetime value through strategic engagement and retention efforts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing diverse initiatives to keep our supporters connected, informed, and inspired. Crucially, you will coordinate and motivate a team of fundraising agents, design and implement retention projects, and analyze supporters’ data to inform decisions ensuring effective communication and continued support for our mission. Working closely with the Acquisition Coordinator, you will ensure a seamless donor journey from initial support to sustained engagement. The role operates within a modern organizational structure, where project teams work collaboratively in a semi flat hierarchy, emphasizing innovation, autonomy, and cross- functional cooperation. Key Duties & Responsibilities
FR Agent Management
- Lead, coordinate, and support the team of fundraising agents, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and coach team members, promoting a high performance and collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement scripts (Telefundraising & field work) and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective donor communication.
- Monitor individual and team performance through data, set goals, and provide regular and constructive feedback, to ensure targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all FR activities comply with data protection regulations and ethical fundraising practices.
Supporters Engagement & Retention
- Develop and execute comprehensive donor retention strategies to cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with existing supporters.
- Design and implement various communication touchpoints to keep individual donors engaged, informed, and appreciated.
- Segment the donor database and develop personalized communication journeys resulting in, increasing loyalty and lifetime value.
- Identify opportunities for donor upgrades and cultivate major gift prospects from within our existing supporter base, providing personalized outreach.
Supporters Engagement & Retention
- Develop and execute comprehensive donor retention strategies to cultivate long-term, meaningful relationships with existing supporters.

Diverse Engagement Initiatives
- Plan and execute a variety of fundraising and engagement initiatives aimed at existing individual donors.
- Collaborate closely with the Acquisition Coordinator to ensure cohesive donor journeys and messaging.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of engagement initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and evaluate the performance of engagement activities using clearly defined KPIs (ex. attrition, response rates, retention rates, ROI) and provide regular insights backed with actual data for improvement recommendations.
Data Utilization & Reporting
- Work closely with the IT & Salesforce Specialist to ensure the accurate input, and maintenance and segmentation of individual donor information within our CRM, facilitating effective communication, targeting and analysis.
- Leverage CRM data to identify donor trends, retention patterns, track engagement, and inform strategy.
- Take ownership of data entry FR related activities where needed, ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Create and maintain regular analytical reports, focused on key fundraising metrics, such as donors retention and reactivation rates, agents’ performance and overall individual fundraising progress.
- Use data insights to inform decision making and strategic planning.
Requirements
What you bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or other related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in donor relations, retention fundraising, or customer relationship management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Team management: Proven experience in team coordination, supervision, or people management.
- Analytical skills: Strong data analysis and reporting skills, ability to translate insights into actionable steps.
- TFR (Telefundraising): Strong understanding and hands- on experience with TFR methodologies.
- Donor Engagement: Proven success in developing and managing engagement strategies.
- Language skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English are essential.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to rapport and trust with diverse individuals.
- CRM Proficiency: Proficiency in using CRM software for donor communication, segmentation, and reporting.
- Organizational skills: Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Work ethic: Proactive, self motivated, adaptable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility and Innovation: Comfort with change, experimentation, and working in a fast-moving environment that values creativity and continuous learning.
