These spots all reflect the continuous support given to fossil fuel projects in the country, which contribute to the climate crisis and at the same time are the main cause of the skyrocketing energy prices that citizens have to deal with. In light of the upcoming general elections in Greece in May, all parties must show responsibility and any government created, no matter which party wins the elections, must decide on ambitious plans to combat the climate crisis, cancel the hydrocarbon drilling plans in Greece, say no to fossil fuels (including gas), heavily invest on renewable energy and energy efficiency and promote energy
