Greenpeace India is seeking a Program Director with a strategic mindset to help build and lead its programmes in partnership with allies, supporters, staff and donors, to address global climate urgency and the unique environmental challenges of India.
Greenpeace India has been going through an interesting or some may say challenging phase, and in these interesting times we are looking for a candidate with a track record in managing through crisis and organisational change management. The candidate should demonstrate characteristics of creativity, empathy and fun in piloting and implementing out of the box solutions to problems, and is prepared to adopt a non-partisan approach in responding to the increasingly polarized landscape.
The candidate should be an innovative problem solver and excellent collaborator and communicator who can help resolve conflicts and address the needs and concerns of different stakeholders. Having direct senior leadership experience in working for climate change, sustainable agriculture & other environmental related issues; or in social innovation would be a bonus.
