And yet, beyond the noise of fear and polarisation, something deeper kept growing: communities choosing care, courage, and one another. Across coasts, cities, forests, and neighbourhoods, people refused to carry the cost of a crisis they did not create. Instead, they drew the line.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>Witness 4.25<\/em>\u00a0is our year in review, but more than that, it is a reflection of the people who made this year unforgettable: fishers defending livelihoods, workers naming the cost of heat, communities protecting forests and commons, and neighbours reimagining cities through dignity and care.
