A key observation in the state of Telangana is that the deployment of rooftop solar PV is lackluster despite existing policies and regulations that support rooftop solar.<\/p>\n

If deployment rates do not significantly increase, it is unlikely that that India\u2019s rooftop solar PV (RTPV) deployment target of 40 GW by 2022 will be met. Hyderabad, by virtue of being a Tier 1 city, is representative of most locations in India from where most demand for RTPV solar is likely to arise.<\/p>\n
