Regulasi hijau itu tak semestinya dianggap sebagai <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kompas.id\/baca\/ekonomi\/2022\/12\/07\/ri-sebut-uu-produk-bebas-deforestasi-ue-anti-multilateralisme-dan-diskriminatif\">anti-multilateralisme dan diskriminatif<\/a>, mengingat bahwa pengurangan deforestasi sudah menjadi komitmen global.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Pembentukan UU Komoditas Bebas Deforestasi Uni Eropa merupakan implementasi komitmen mereka untuk memitigasi terjadinya perubahan iklim. Pemerintah Indonesia pun memiliki komitmen serupa, di antaranya melalui kebijakan moratorium hutan dan target FOLU (<em>forest and other land uses <\/em>atau pemanfaatan hutan dan penggunaan lahan) Net Sink 2030.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/9a355761-gp0stpehm_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55937\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/9a355761-gp0stpehm_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/9a355761-gp0stpehm_web_size_with_credit_line-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/9a355761-gp0stpehm_web_size_with_credit_line-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/9a355761-gp0stpehm_web_size_with_credit_line-510x340.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>\u201cArtinya, kehadiran EUDR ini tidak semestinya menjadi hambatan bagi Indonesia. Apalagi Indonesia sedang menerapkan beberapa kebijakan yang sebenarnya sudah sejalan dengan arah Uni Eropa menghentikan deforestasi,\u201d kata Syahrul Fitra, Juru Kampanye Hutan Senior Greenpeace Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n<p>Pemerintah sebaiknya serius memperbaiki tata kelola komoditas berkelanjutan, khususnya menyangkut sawit dan kayu. Apalagi, sistem sertifikasi seperti ISPO (Indonesian Sustainable Oil Plan) dan SVLK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu) yang selama ini sudah diterapkan Indonesia terbukti belum efektif menghentikan deforestasi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Di sisi lain, pelaku usaha di Indonesia cukup membuktikan bahwa sudah tak ada deforestasi di konsesi mereka setelah tanggal 31 Desember 2020\u2013sesuai aturan <em>cut off <\/em>EUDR. Dengan luas kebun sawit saat ini mencapai 16,32 juta hektar, semestinya tak perlu ada lagi pembabatan hutan untuk menambah luas kebun. Sudah saatnya hutan alam yang tersisa di dalam konsesi sawit saat ini dilindungi.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/da28496e-gp0stqrag_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55938\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/da28496e-gp0stqrag_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/da28496e-gp0stqrag_web_size_with_credit_line-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/da28496e-gp0stqrag_web_size_with_credit_line-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-indonesia-stateless\/2022\/12\/da28496e-gp0stqrag_web_size_with_credit_line-510x340.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Regulasi anti deforestasi Uni Eropa tersebut juga <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voaindonesia.com\/a\/petani-sawit-sambut-baik-kesepakatan-anti-deforestasi-parlemen-eropa-\/6761396.html\">bisa membantu petani sawit<\/a>, khususnya petani swadaya yang telah menerapkan praktik sawit berkelanjutan. Sebab, keberadaan mereka bisa diakui, baik secara hukum maupun dalam rantai pasok, dengan adanya prasyarat ketertelusuran atau <em>traceability.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>Dalam implementasinya, Uni Eropa pun harus memberikan perhatian dan bekerja sama dengan para petani agar mereka dapat memenuhi prasyarat uji tuntas. Aturan <em>benchmarking <\/em>setiap negara berdasarkan tingkat deforestasi juga perlu diperjelas, terutama pada aturan teknis di setiap negara anggota Uni Eropa.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u201cJika melihat beberapa kasus yang pernah terjadi di Indonesia, <em>benchmarking <\/em>ini cukup berisiko. Pelaku usaha dari Indonesia cukup mengalihkan barangnya ke negara dengan risiko rendah untuk bisa masuk ke pasar Uni Eropa,\u201d kata Syahrul.<\/p>\n\n<p>Kendati begitu, Undang-Undang Komoditas Bebas Deforestasi Uni Eropa ini belum signifikan memberikan perlindungan bagi masyarakat adat.
