For over fifty years<\/a> \u2013 on all continents and oceans \u2013 together we have spoken truth to power, borne witness, stopped, blocked and placed our bodies in the way of environmental destruction. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Our founders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a joke that in any bar in Vancouver, Canada, you can sit down next to someone who claims to have founded Greenpeace. In fact, there was no single founder: name, idea, spirit and tactics can all be said to have separate lineages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, some people clearly stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
