A jury in Morton County, North Dakota found the Greenpeace entities liable for more than $660 million on 19 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fight is far from over!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"intro\" class=\"wp-block-group has-beige-100-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-radius:10px;padding-top:20px;padding-right:20px;padding-bottom:20px;padding-left:20px\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">All together now: #WeWillNotBeSilenced<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Energy Transfer\u2019s meritless, back-to-back lawsuits against Greenpeace International and Greenpeace entities in the US since 2017 are perhaps the world\u2019s most brazen examples of a Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation (SLAPP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although laws against SLAPPs are being proposed and implemented around the world, these abusive lawsuits are currently a weapon of Big Oil bullies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ET\u2019s SLAPP represents a crucial test of this dangerous legal tactic that, if successful, could see it even more widely applied against peaceful protesters, especially in the US, and anyone who speaks out or criticises a deep-pocketed corporation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\"
