Coke, Danone, Mars, Pepsi and Unilever are among the 250+ signatories that have pledged to tackle plastic pollution, though Greenpeace, a member of the Break Free From Plastic (BFFP) movement, has urged these corporations to show concrete actions that focus on reduction.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In response to today\u2019s EMF announcement, Greenpeace Indonesia Global Project Leader Ahmad Ashov said:<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhile elements of the EMF Global Commitment are moving in the right direction, the problem is that companies are given the flexibility to continue prioritising recycling over reduction and reuse. Corporations are not required to set actual targets to reduce the total amount of single-use plastics they are churning out.
