At the beginning of the month we launched a petition<\/a> to ask Samsung to reuse or recycle materials from 4.3 million Galaxy Note7 phones<\/a> following its global recall<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n

Since then the story has been picked up by media<\/a> all<\/a> over<\/a> the world<\/a> and over 25,000 people signed the petition calling on Samsung to do the right thing.<\/p>\n

And guess what? It\u2019s working!<\/h2>\n

Samsung has already publicly said<\/a> it \u201crecognises the concerns\u201d and is \u201creviewing possible options that can minimize the environmental impact\u201d of these millions of phones.<\/p>\n<\/lite-youtube>\n

However, we still haven\u2019t seen any public plans and now it\u2019s time to up the pressure.<\/p>\n

Right now, Samsung\u2019s management is considering what to do. If you can spare a phone call and just three minutes of your time today we can convince them to make the right decision on behalf of our planet.<\/p>\n
