\ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddea Germany – With an impressive projection in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Greenpeace brings the Amazon to the heart of Europe. Giant \u201cAmazon\u201d letters, currently travelling through major cities, become a shining symbol for the protection of the world’s largest rainforest.<\/p>\n\n

Accompanied by moving messages, video projections, and the voices of indigenous representatives, the campaign calls for urgent climate justice and consistent forest protection\u2014in the run-up to the historic COP30 world climate conference in Bel\u00e9m, Brazil.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddf9 Austria – In the centre of Vienna, Greenpeace Austria commissioned ice sculptors to create a seven-metre-wide ice sculpture spelling \u201cZUKUNFT\u201d (FUTURE). As the sculpture melted under the sun, it sent a clear message: our future is slipping away.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddf2 Cameroon – Greenpeace Africa joined local and Indigenous communities for the Forest Cultural Show (Indigenous People’s Day celebration) in Yaounde, to learn how they protect their environment, share their cultures, and chart sustainable solutions for the future. Together, they marked Indigenous Peoples\u2019 Day. Greenpeace Africa documented how the communities apply ancestral knowledge and traditional practices to protect the forest and peatlands they depend on.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 France – Protest against the large-scale Rassemblement National \/ National Rally (French far-right party) meeting in Bordeaux. Among the anti-National Rally protesters gathered at Place de la Bourse were unions, left-wing parties, feminist and environmental groups, surrounded by a heavy police presence.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde9 Democratic Republic of the Congo – Greenpeace Africa joined local and Indigenous communities of Lokolama, Penz\u00e9l\u00e9 and Mbandaka in the Congo Basin forest, to learn how they protect their environment, share their cultures, and chart sustainable solutions for the future. Together they marked Indigenous People\u2019s Day. Greenpeace Africa documented how the communities apply ancestral knowledge and traditional practices to protect the forest and peatlands they depend on.<\/p>\n\n

The protest highlighted how the company, linked to deforestation and climate destruction, has now been included in major U.S. share indexes \u2014 meaning people\u2019s pensions and investments could now fund JBS without them even knowing. The message was clear: JBS doesn\u2019t stand for a sustainable future. J-B-S stands for one thing only: Just. Bull. Shit.
