From forests defenders to factory farms, and fossil gas to climate justice, it’s been a busy week in the Greenpeace world. Here are selection of images from our work around the globe over the past seven days.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\uddf9 Italy – Greenpeace activists protest intensive farming in specially built cages at the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) in Rome. At the world conference on livestock, Greenpeace launches an appeal signed by over 90 organisations for a just transition in the food sector.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\uddee\ud83c\udde9 Indonesia – Greenpeace Indonesia holds the second Forest Defender Camp (FDC) from 23-26 September 2025 in Sira\u2019s customary forest of Tehit Tribe Knasaimos area, South Sorong, South West Papua. The FDC is attended by 89 participants, including Papuan Indigenous youths from 7 customary areas around Papua Island, as well as delegations of Indigenous Peoples from the Congo Basin, Amazon, and Borneo.<\/p><\/section><\/div>\n

\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddf6 Bonaire – The Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior in Bonaire. Bonaire is on the frontline of the climate crisis: extreme heat, drought, flooding, and coral loss are already a reality, while one-fifth of the island could disappear by the end of this century due to rising sea levels. Eight residents of Bonaire, together with Greenpeace Netherlands, are taking the Dutch government to court in the Bonaire Climate Case. They demand rapid CO2 reductions and concrete plans to protect the island.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udde9\ud83c\uddf0 Denmark – Activists raise an enormous \u2018climate bill\u2019 of 5 trillion US dollars outside Total Energies office in Copenhagen. The \u2018climate bill\u2019 lists the costs of global climate destruction that is a result of the fossil fuel activities of companies like Total.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\udde8\ud83c\uddf2 \/ \ud83c\uddff\ud83c\udde6 \/ \ud83c\udde8\ud83c\udde9 Cameroon, South Africa, and DRC – ‘Draw the Line’ global week of marches and protests across Africa. <\/p><\/section><\/div>\n

\ud83c\udde7\ud83c\uddea Belgium – More than 70 activists from 17 countries together with Greenpeace Belgium participate in the blockade of the Zeebrugge LNG terminal in Belgium with the Witness, kayaks, and a 10-meter-long inflatable structure. Including the giant heads of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, they protest against Europe\u2019s dependence on fossil gas, most of which comes from Russia and the US. They demand that the EU commit to fully phasing out fossil gas by 2035 and banning all new fossil fuel projects.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 U.K. – Volunteers carry out a postering activity in Liverpool as part of the launch for a new campaign, ‘The Great Gas Rip-off’. The campaign aims to raise awareness that gas is keeping bills high. Posters reading, \u2018The Great Gas Rip-Off\u2019, and, \u2018Gas Giants Have Thrown Us Under The Bus\u2019, have been popping up at bus stops and on windows and walls across the city centre this week, following the launch of the new campaign from Greenpeace.<\/p>\n\n

\ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 France – On September 28, across France, 40,000 people marched in response to a call from a broad coalition of social, trade union, and environmental organisations to denounce austerity policies, attacks on civil liberties, and climate inaction. Together, they made a common demand: \u201cClimate, Justice, Freedom!\u201d<\/p>\n\n

\u00a9 Chanklang Kanthong \/ Greenpeace<\/div><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

\ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\udded Thailand – Greenpeace Thailand organises a Forest Therapy activity at Wachirabenchathat Park, inviting volunteers and supporters to connect with nature through grounding, the use of five senses, and interactive activity cards.<\/p>\n\n

Participants were guided to reflect on the interconnection between humans and nature, while raising awareness of the climate crisis that we are all facing.<\/p>\n\n

Greenpeace has been a pioneer of photo activism for more than 50 years, and remains committed to bearing witness and exposing environmental injustice through the images we capture.<\/p>\n\n
