After the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, he reaffirmed the power of each individual\u2019s role in a society through his volunteer work in devastated areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dThe mission of Greenpeace Japan is to preserve this beautiful planet for future generations. However,\u00a0environmental problems cannot be solved by Greenpeace alone. We will engage with people who care about our current environmental situation, and invite more citizens to take action with us. With more people power, we can build a greener and more peaceful world for all,\u201d said Annesley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmongst the many environmental issues that need to be addressed, Greenpeace Japan will focus on tackling the issue of climate change.
