Greenpeace Luxemburg ist eine der vielen Umweltorganisationen weltweit, <strong>die rechtliche Schritte als Mittel zur Beeinflussung der Klimapolitik<\/strong>der Regierungen und Industrien einsetzt. <br><br>Warum so weit gehen? Denn zur globalen Erw\u00e4rmung beizutragen ist ein Verbrechen:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>sie gef\u00e4hrdet die Menschenrechte aller Menschen, einschlie\u00dflich des Rechts auf eine gesunde Umwelt.<\/li><li>sie vergr\u00f6\u00dfert die Ungleichheiten<\/li><li>sie zerst\u00f6rt durch extreme Wetterbedingungen (\u00dcberschwemmungen, Br\u00e4nde, D\u00fcrren, Hitzewellen usw.) die f\u00fcr Menschen und andere Lebewesen notwendige Infrastruktur.<\/li><li>sie stellt ein immenses wirtschaftliches und systemisches Risiko dar<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welche Menschenrechte sind gef\u00e4hrdet?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Die Menschenrechte sind eng mit dem Klimawandel verbunden, da dieser nicht nur verheerende Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt, sondern auch auf unsere Lebensqualit\u00e4t und unser \u00dcberleben hat.<\/p>\n\n<p>Der Klimawandel bedroht nicht nur unsere Existenz, sondern beeintr\u00e4chtigt auch unsere Rechte auf Leben, Gesundheit, Nahrung, Wasser, Wohnung, Lebensunterhalt und mehr. Und wissen Sie was? Diejenigen, die am wenigsten zum Klimawandel beitragen, sind am st\u00e4rksten von seinen Folgen betroffen.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was sollten die Verantwortlichen tun?<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\">Die Staaten<\/span><\/strong> m\u00fcssen schnell und langfristig einen Aktionsplan mit Zielen und Ma\u00dfnahmen aufstellen, die dem Klimanotstand angemessen sind, um die Folgen f\u00fcr die Umwelt und die Bev\u00f6lkerung zu begrenzen.<br><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\">Die Industrie<\/span><\/strong> muss Strategien f\u00fcr eine Energiewende einf\u00fchren. Die L\u00f6sungen sind zahlreich und schaffen gro\u00dfe Chancen f\u00fcr unsere Wirtschaften, sich neu zu erfinden. ..<br><\/li><li><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\">Akteure des<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/de\/finanzsektor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\">Fin<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">anzsekto<\/span>rs<\/span><\/a><\/strong> wie Banken, Versicherungen und Pensionsfonds m\u00fcssen in fossile Brennstoffe investiertes Geld in nachhaltige und verantwortungsbewusste Investitionen umleiten.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warum rechtliche Schritte?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Rechtliche Schritte sind in erster Linie ein Mittel, um den Druck auf die Verantwortlichen zu erh\u00f6hen und positive Ver\u00e4nderungen herbeizuf\u00fchren, indem wir von unseren Verantwortlichen konkrete gesetzliche Ma\u00dfnahmen fordern.<\/p>\n\n<p>Zweitens sind rechtliche Schritte ein Instrument f\u00fcr B\u00fcrgerInnen, um sich individuell oder partizipatorisch gegen die klimasch\u00e4dlichen Verhaltensweisen bestimmter Unternehmen und die Unt\u00e4tigkeit von Regierungen zu wehren.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wie viele Klimaklagen gibt es weltweit?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Es gibt mehr als 600 Klagen von Einzelpersonen und Nichtregierungsorganisationen, die die Rechte der von der Klimakrise betroffenen Menschen auf der ganzen Welt geltend machen.<\/p>\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=1RunHATddbakyeeGGskuidI2IVDASkYJf\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wie erfolgreich sind rechtliche Mittel?<\/h3>\n\n<p>Ja, <strong>in Europa und weltweit,<\/strong>von Belgien, Frankreich, Irland, der Schweiz, England und bis nach Neuseeland, wurden mehrere Klimaklagen gewonnen und\/oder hatten einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Klimapolitik der L\u00e4nder und die Rechte der Menschen in den vom Klimawandel betroffenen Gemeinden.<\/p>\n\n<p>Im Fall Urgenda in den Niederlanden wurde die niederl\u00e4ndische <strong>Regierung z.B. verpflichtet, die nationalen Treibhausgasemissionen bis 2020 um mindestens 25%<\/strong> gegen\u00fcber dem Niveau von 1990 zu reduzieren.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>In Luxemburg<\/strong>veranlasste das Gerichtsverfahren von Greenpeace gegen den f\u00fcr den staatlichen Pensionsfonds (FDC) zust\u00e4ndigen Minister den Fonds dazu, eine Analyse der Auswirkungen seiner Investitionen aus \u00f6kologischer und wirtschaftlicher Sicht in Auftrag zu geben.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was tut die luxemburgische Regierung f\u00fcr das Klima?<\/h3>\n\n<p>F\u00fcr Greenpeace hat es die Regierung vers\u00e4umt, den Klimaschutz zu einer wirklichen Priorit\u00e4t zu machen. Die Regierung hat gez\u00f6gert, bedeutende Ma\u00dfnahmen zu ergreifen, um die Treibhausgasemissionen zu reduzieren, die Entwicklung erneuerbarer Energien zu st\u00e4rken und die Auswirkungen des Finanzsektors auf das Klima zu gesetzlich festzulegen.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\">W\u00e4hrend die Regierung ihre B\u00fcrgerInnen zum Handeln gegen den Klimawandel auffordert, finanziert ihr eigener <a href=\"https:\/\/act.greenpeace.org\/page\/61702\/action\/1\"><\/a><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/act.greenpeace.org\/page\/61702\/action\/1\" target=\"_blank\">Pensionsfonds<\/a> weiterhin klimasch\u00e4dliche Unternehmen.<\/span>           <\/strong>         <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was macht Greenpeace?<\/h3>\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\"><strong>Greenpeace Luxemburg<\/strong><\/span> <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-grey-900-color\">vs.<\/span><\/strong> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-green-500-color\"><strong>Romain Schneider<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"has-inline-color has-grey-900-color\">:<\/span> Im September 2019 leitete Greenpeace Luxemburg ein Gerichtsverfahren vor dem Verwaltungsgericht ein. Wieso? Der zust\u00e4ndige Sozialversicherungsminister Romain Schneider weigerte sich, auf unser Schreiben zu antworten, in dem wir um <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/fr\/communiques-de-presse\/5632\/fonds-de-pension-fdc-le-ministre-refuse-la-transparence-sur-des-investissements-prejudiciables-pour-le-climat-greenpeace-introduit-un-recours-aupres-du-tribunal-administratif\/\" target=\"_blank\">Informationen \u00fcber die Investitionen des staatlichen luxemburgischen Pensionsfonds (FDC &#8211; Fonds de Compensation) in fossile Brennstoffe<\/a> und die damit verbundenen Klimafinanzrisiken gebeten hatten.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image caption-style-medium caption-alignment-center\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"724\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/174e0f94-timeline-fdc_de-1-724x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10344\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n<p>Dank der Aktion von Greenpeace hat der FDC einen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/de\/presseerklaerungen\/6901\/der-luxemburger-pensionsfonds-fdc-laesst-die-klimarisiken-seiner-investitionen-bewerten\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nachhaltigkeitsbericht<\/a> in Auftrag gegeben, der die in unserer Klage geforderten Informationen analysiert.
