Aktuell entspricht die Investitionsstrategie der 100 Investmentfonds des Luxemburger Finanzplatzes im Durchschnitt<\/strong> einem Szenario von +4\u00b0C bis 2050<\/strong>, was weit von den Zielen des Pariser Klimaabkommens entfernt ist.<\/p>\n\n

Als Europas Nummer eins<\/strong> und weltweit Nummer zwei f\u00fcr Investmentfonds muss Luxemburg jedoch eine wichtige Rolle im Kampf gegen den Klimawandel spielen<\/strong>. Um dies zu erreichen, muss die Finanzindustrie bessere Investitionsentscheidungen treffen. Denn w\u00e4hrend die Regierung und der Finanzsektor eine gro\u00dfe Kommunikationskampagne inszenieren, in der sie ihren Finanzplatz als “f\u00fchrende internationale Plattform f\u00fcr nachhaltige Finanzen” pr\u00e4sentieren, sieht die Realit\u00e4t ganz anders aus: Luxemburger Investmentfonds stecken weiterhin Milliarden von Euro in fossile Brennstoffe<\/strong> und andere umweltverschmutzende Unternehmen, mit katastrophalen Auswirkungen auf Umwelt und Klima.<\/p>\n\n
