Am 19. Oktober 2022 haben Greenpeace Luxemburg und Mouvement Ecologique gemeinsam einen offenen Brief an Minister Xavier Bettel adressiert. Betreff dieses Briefes sind Steuererleichterungen f\u00fcr in Luxemburg ans\u00e4ssige Investmentfonds, die die Kriterien der europ\u00e4ischen Taxonomie erf\u00fcllen, die auch Gas und Kernenergie umfasst.<\/h3>\n\n

Beide Organisationen begr\u00fc\u00dfen die Ank\u00fcndigung der Luxemburger Regierung, gemeinsam mit \u00d6sterreich gegen die EU-Taxonomie zu klagen und alle bisher eingeleiteten Schritte. Sie fordern jedoch, dass die Regierung auch in anderen Bereichen ihren Widerstand gegen diese Taxonomie zum Ausdruck bringt, insbesondere wenn es um das Errichten finanzieller H\u00fcrden f\u00fcr gef\u00e4hrliche und nicht nachhaltige Energieformen wie Gas und Atomkraft geht. Kurz gesagt, sollen Fonds, die in Atomkraft und fossile Energietr\u00e4ger wie Gas investieren, keine Steuervorteile mehr erhalten.<\/p>\n\n
