Es kann nicht sein, dass Steuerzahlerinnen und Steuerzahler zur Kassa gebeten werden, um veraltete Hochrisiko-Technologien zu finanzieren, die sonst am Strommarkt nicht bestehen k\u00f6nnten.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Begr\u00fcndet hatte der EuGH seine Entscheidung unter anderem mit dem Vertrag von Euratom. Dieser besagt, dass die F\u00f6rderung von Atomenergie in der EU zu erleichtern ist (Artikel 2(c) des Euratom Vertrags). Doch dieser Vertrag stammt aus dem Jahr 1957 und ist l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberholt. Erneuerbare Energie ist nicht nur sicher, sondern auch deutlich g\u00fcnstiger als Atomenergie. Laut einer Studie von Greenpeace Energy w\u00fcrde beispielsweise eine Windstrom-Alternative bei mindestens gleicher Leistung und Versorgungssicherheit rund sieben Milliarden Euro weniger kosten, als die f\u00fcr Hinkley Point C geplanten Subventionen.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201c<em>Wenn der europ\u00e4ische Gerichtshof nicht bereit ist das Ende der Atomenergie zu besiegeln, dann wird das wohl am Markt geschehen.
