Oktober 2023 \u2013 Greenpeace-Aktivist:innen verwandelten heute Morgen den Sitz des Fonds de Compensation (FDC) in der Avenue de la Porte Neuve in einen Greenwash-Salon. Mit dieser Aktion protestiert die Umweltschutzorganisation gegen das Greenwashing, mit dem der luxemburgische Pensionsfonds von seiner klimasch\u00e4digenden und menschenrechtsmissachtenden Investitionspolitik ablenken will. Greenpeace fordert die zuk\u00fcnftige Regierung auf, die gesetzlichen Grundlagen zu schaffen, die den FDC verpflichten, im Einklang mit den internationalen Zielen f\u00fcr Klimaschutz, Umweltschutz und f\u00fcr soziale Gerechtigkeit zu investieren.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/2023\/10\/16d48968-gp0stxway_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19899\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/2023\/10\/16d48968-gp0stxway_web_size_with_credit_line.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/2023\/10\/16d48968-gp0stxway_web_size_with_credit_line-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/2023\/10\/16d48968-gp0stxway_web_size_with_credit_line-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-luxembourg-stateless\/2023\/10\/16d48968-gp0stxway_web_size_with_credit_line-510x340.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>Greenpeace wirft dem FDC vor, in seiner \u00f6ffentlichen Kommunikation Greenwashing zu betreiben und zur T\u00e4uschung der luxemburgischen \u00d6ffentlichkeit beizutragen. Ende 2022 hat der FDC seinen <a href=\"https:\/\/fdc.public.lu\/en\/actualites\/2022\/sustainable-investor-factsheet-2021.html\"><em>Sustainable Investor Factsheet<\/em><\/a> ver\u00f6ffentlicht, in dem einige der g\u00e4ngigen Greenwashing-Methoden angewendet werden, darunter das selektive Ver\u00f6ffentlichen (d.h. das Hervorheben positiver Informationen und\/oder au\u00dfer Acht lassen relevanter negativer Informationen) sowie das Verwenden wenig ambitionierter Labels. Zudem sind die Aussagen des FDC \u00fcber seine \u00f6kologische und soziale Nachhaltigkeitsleistung nur schwer \u00fcberpr\u00fcfbar oder irref\u00fchrend.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Greenpeace hat eine Reihe von <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/fr\/fdc-greenwashing\/\"><strong>Beispielen identifiziert, die das vom FDC praktizierte Greenwashing belegen<\/strong><\/a><strong>, darunter:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Um seine klimafreundliche Investitionspolitik zu belegen, zitiert der FDC u.a. seine Investitionen in ein 500 Millionen Euro Paris-konformes Teilportfolio. Demgegen\u00fcber <strong>tragen die gesamten Investitionen des FDC <\/strong>(24,6 Milliarden Euro im Jahr 2022) <strong>zu einem globalen Temperaturanstieg von 2,7\u00b0C bei<\/strong>. Unter anderem investiert der FDC in 23 der gr\u00f6\u00dften Carbon Majors, darunter TotalEnergies, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, Chevron und RWE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trotz seiner Behauptungen schlie\u00dft der FDC Unternehmen, die die Grunds\u00e4tze des Globalen Pakts der Vereinten Nationen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung sowie die OECD- und UN-Leits\u00e4tze f\u00fcr Wirtschaft und Menschenrechte nicht einhalten, nicht oder nur in geringem Ma\u00dfe von seinen Investitionen aus. Eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/fr\/communiques-de-presse\/14053\/dirty-and-dangerous-par-ses-investissements-le-fonds-de-pension-luxembourgeois-alimente-la-crise-climatique-et-neglige-la-protection-des-droits-humains\/\">Studie von Greenpeace und ASTM<\/a> zu den Investitionen des FDC im Jahr 2021 ermittelte <strong>bei 196 Unternehmen 282 F\u00e4lle von Verst\u00f6\u00dfen gegen die menschenrechtliche Sorgfaltspflicht<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Der FDC hebt die angeblich positiven Auswirkungen seiner gr\u00fcnen Anleihen hervor, die weniger als 2% des gesamten FDC-Portfolios ausmachen. Demgegen\u00fcber wurden <strong>die Auswirkungen von 98% der FDC-Investitionen nicht analysiert<\/strong>. Die Zahlen, die der FDC hinsichtlich der positiven Auswirkungen des Green Bonds-Portfolios angibt, sind nicht \u00fcberpr\u00fcfbar, da der FDC seine Berechnungen nicht ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Schlie\u00dflich br\u00fcstet sich der FDC mit seinen 700 Hektar PEFC-zertifizierten W\u00e4ldern, w\u00e4hrend er gleichzeitig im Jahr 2022 <strong>seine Investitionen in die weltweit gr\u00f6\u00dften Entwaldungstreiber<\/strong>, darunter JBS, Cargill und Wilmar, von 137 Millionen Euro im Vorjahr auf 143 Millionen Euro <strong>erh\u00f6hte<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Eine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/luxembourg\/fr\/communiques-de-presse\/18793\/toujours-aussi-sales-et-dangereux-les-investissements-du-fdc-en-2022\/\">Greenpeace-Analyse<\/a> kommt zu dem Schluss, dass der FDC im Jahr 2022 mehr als 3 Milliarden Euro in klima- und umweltsch\u00e4dliche Industrien investierte, aber auch in die Atomindustrie sowie in Unternehmen, die die Anforderungen der internationalen Standards zur menschenrechtlichen Sorgfaltspflicht nicht einhalten. Damit der Pensionsfonds wirklich nachhaltig wird, muss seine Investitionsstrategie erheblich verbessert werden.
