Il y a un monstre dans ma cuisine<\/em> raconte l\u2019histoire d\u2019un jeune gar\u00e7on qui apprend la dure r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la d\u00e9forestation en Amazonie gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un jaguar nomm\u00e9 Jag-wah. Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Jag-Wah, le jeune gar\u00e7on explore la face cach\u00e9e de la production de viande industrielle, qui contribue \u00e0 la destruction de pr\u00e9cieuses for\u00eats, et se promet de mobiliser les gens pour combattre les monstres.<\/p>\n\n

Une superficie presque aussi vaste que le Royaume-Uni a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9truite au Br\u00e9sil cette ann\u00e9e [1]. Cette d\u00e9vastation est une catastrophe pour les peuples autochtones qui tentent de prot\u00e9ger leurs terres. Elle compromet \u00e9galement la survie d\u2019esp\u00e8ces sauvages menac\u00e9es telles que le jaguar [2]. En cause : la surproduction et la surconsommation de viande et de produits laitiers. Afin d\u2019alimenter les \u00e9levages industriels, ce sont des millions de tonnes de soja sud-am\u00e9ricain qui sont import\u00e9es chaque ann\u00e9e en Europe.

Les gouvernements doivent s\u2019engager concr\u00e8tement dans la lutte contre l\u2019importation de produits qui contribuent \u00e0 la d\u00e9forestation, comme le soja et promouvoir une r\u00e9forme radicale de la Politique agricole commune (PAC), pour privil\u00e9gier le financement des fili\u00e8res v\u00e9g\u00e9tales et de l\u2019\u00e9levage \u00e9cologique plut\u00f4t que celui des fermes-usines et de l\u2019\u00e9levage industriel hautement d\u00e9pendant des importations de soja.<\/p>\n\n

Il faut des changements dans notre syst\u00e8me et une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution alimentaire et agricole : c\u2019est notre avenir qui est en jeu ! <\/p>\n\n

Pour nous permettre d\u2019enqu\u00eater sur place, de d\u00e9noncer sans rel\u00e2che la destruction des for\u00eats \u00e0 travers le monde et de faire pression sur les responsables politiques, nous avons besoin de vous. Nous d\u00e9pendons uniquement des personnes priv\u00e9es qui nous soutiennent.<\/p>\n\n

Ce film a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 par l\u2019agence cr\u00e9ative Mother et a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit par Cartoon Saloon, qui a re\u00e7u quatre nominations aux Oscars. Le film est la suite du succ\u00e8s Rang-Tan.\u201cT\u2019inqui\u00e8te pas monsieur jaguar, maintenant y\u2019a plus d\u2019l\u00e9zard !
