Oceans<\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The oceans regulate our climate, provide for billions of people and are home to so much biodiversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But they\u2019re under threat from climate change, industrial fishing, plastic pollution, and the threats of deep sea mining. Ocean protection can\u2019t wait any longer.<\/p>\n<\/div>

What We’re Facing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our oceans are in crisis \u2014 and so are we. The very systems that sustain life below water are being pushed to collapse. Oil exploration, the effects of global warming, land reclamation projects, and plastic pollution are causing extremely negative impacts on marine ecosystems and marine life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Coral reefs at risk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Malaysia, part of the Coral Triangle, the most biodiverse marine region on Earth, now has only 47.83% live coral cover left. (Source<\/a>)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Barely protected, yet exploited<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Oceans are absorbing our damage<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
