This plastic is choking our oceans, killing wildlife, and fuelling an environmental disaster of unprecedented scale. The very communities Dove claims to support are drowning in a sea of single-use plastic, their neighbourhoods transformed into unofficial dumping grounds for corporate waste. This needs to change.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A chance for real change<\/h2>\n\n<p>Dove doesn\u2019t just have the power to change its own business \u2013 it can change the whole industry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>In just a few months, world leaders will gather to negotiate a Global Plastics Treaty, a once-in-a-generation opportunity to end the age of throwaway plastic.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Unilever, Dove&#8217;s parent company, holds massive sway in these talks. If they feel the pressure from millions of people watching this film, they\u2019ll be forced to back a strong treaty.
