SAWT Communities who turned ideas into action<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iraq:<\/strong> More than 13,000 people<\/strong> have supported community action in Basra calling for the application of the \u201cpolluter pays\u201d principle<\/strong>, keeping the issue on the public agenda, including through calls for legal reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morocco:<\/strong> More than 10,000 people<\/strong> support the \u201cKenitra is Suffocating\u201d<\/strong> community initiative for clean air, while the platform supports local community demands through reports grounded in data and evidence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tunisia:<\/strong> More than 6,300 people<\/strong> have stood alongside a grassroots movement calling for action to address worsening water scarcity and advance water justice<\/strong>. The movement developed a policy paper with practical recommendations and submitted it to the relevant authorities, turning community demands into concrete policy proposals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
