The impact of climate change is becoming more and more evident\u2026 from extreme heat waves to droughts and floods affecting several capitals and regions across the Middle East and North Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a World Bank report, the Middle East is among the most vulnerable regions to the effects of climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The region will experience a rise in average temperatures that could reach up to six degrees Celsius by 2050, leading to a sharp decrease in rainfall and a significant spread of drought, with direct consequences on food security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some scientists believe that the rise in temperatures will wipe out marine life, while others go as far as to predict that the Gulf region will become uninhabitable\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
