This will allow the intern to take part in the development of Greenpeace MENA\u2019s strategic, technical and scientific reports.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Administering GP MENA\u2019s open campaigning platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research work for campaigning purposes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing support on training, workshops, webinars and other events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Due to work requirements, you might be supporting in the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communicating and coordinating with youth and environmental groups across the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Writing and editing of technical and scientific reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong research skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be knowledgeable on key environmental issues (climate change, renewable energy, biodiversity&#8230;).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable with promoting an idea and defending an argument.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good at multitasking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willing to learn new skills, and share your skills with others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interest in and awareness of environmental issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fluency in oral and written Arabic is mandatory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>French would be a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University Degree in a scientific field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Terms and Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>GP MENA internships program offers interns a better understanding of the organization\u2019s goals and objectives and insight into how an international organization operates in&nbsp; a multicultural environment and allows them to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills which will be useful for their career and future employment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Our internships are meant for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies less than 2 years ago.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>How to apply&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Please apply on this<a href=\"https:\/\/gpmena.bamboohr.com\/careers\/82\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> link <\/a>no later than August 26, 2024<\/p>\n\n<p>Due to the large volume of applicants, we are unable to respond to individual queries.
