The role involves developing and implementing comprehensive branding and communications strategies, managing key influencer relationships, and ensuring cohesive organizational branding to expand awareness, engage new audiences, increase the level of engagement, and maximize the impact of campaigns and projects.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>SCOPE<br><\/strong>The Consultant will execute branding, communications, and marketing strategies for Greenpeace MENA. This role requires independence, initiative, and strategic vision, with responsibilities extending to global projects and collaborations across multiple Greenpeace offices. The consultant will also oversee budgets, ensuring alignment with the organization\u2019s objectives and priorities.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>BRANDING, COMMUNICATIONS &amp; MARKETING STRATEGY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lead <\/strong>the implementation of GP MENA\u2019s branding and communications strategies, ensuring alignment with GP MENA\u2019s mission, vision, and goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Develop <\/strong>campaigns that strengthen Greenpeace\u2019s brand identity and visibility across the MENA region, with a focus on positioning GP MENA as a leading environmental organization by integrating innovative storytelling techniques to communicate Greenpeace\u2019s impact and initiatives effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure <\/strong>consistent and effective messaging across all internal and external communications channels, in alignment with the branding and communications strategy and guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement a strategy to enhance the public profile of the Executive Director (ED) as a leading voice in environmental advocacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>INFLUENCER MARKETING &amp; BRAND AMBASSADORSHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Design <\/strong>and execute strategies for engaging key influencers to amplify GP MENA\u2019s messaging and campaigns.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Oversee <\/strong>outreach and partnerships with influencers, ensuring alignment with branding objectives and organizational values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Track <\/strong>and analyze influencers&#8217; performance to refine engagement strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lead <\/strong>on managing GP MENA branding events, in collaboration with partners, and suppliers, and support in managing other departments&#8217; events to ensure proper branding of the organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>MESSAGE DEVELOPMENT &amp; NARRATIVE BUILDING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Create <\/strong>and refine key messages for the organization, campaigns, public speaking engagements, and organizational updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ensure <\/strong>messaging is tailored to diverse audiences within the MENA region and fits different personas while considering local context and cultural sensitivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Oversee <\/strong>the creation of high-quality, brand-aligned content, including annual reports, newsletters, campaigns, and strategic messaging for stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Work <\/strong>with campaign teams to ensure messages are compelling, impactful, resonate with target audiences, and align with the branding messages and guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>MARKET &amp; AUDIENCE RESEARCH<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lead <\/strong>audience and market research projects to identify trends, measure brand perception, and guide strategy development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Utilize <\/strong>data analysis to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing branding, communications, and marketing outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>PROJECT MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Lead <\/strong>branding and communications components of cross-departmental projects, ensuring seamless integration of communications and engagement strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support <\/strong>campaign teams by providing branding insights and communication expertise to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Support <\/strong>the Engagement Director in crisis communication planning and execution, as needed, ensuring clear, timely, and effective responses to reputational risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Develop <\/strong>internal communication plans in collaboration with the People &amp; Culture team to safeguard the brand and to keep staff informed and engaged with organizational updates, campaigns, and milestones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>MONITORING, EVALUATION &amp; REPORTING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Establish <\/strong>key performance indicators (KPIs) for branding, communications, and marketing initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Monitor <\/strong>and evaluate campaigns&#8217; success, reporting progress and incorporating lessons learned into future strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>BUDGET MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Manage <\/strong>the budget for branding, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>OTHER DUTIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Perform <\/strong>additional tasks delegated by the Engagement Director to support GP MENA\u2019s branding and communications goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graduate or postgraduate degree (Master\u2019s preferred) in communications, marketing, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Experience &amp;
