As a politically and financially independent non-profit organisation, we are dedicated to empowering local communities and collaborating with allies to develop innovative and practical solutions that help people to live in harmony with the environment.<\/p>\n\n<p>Greenpeace MENA (GP MENA) is implementing a 3-year Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion &amp; Safety (JEDIS) Strategic Plan to embed an intersectional and contextualized understanding of JEDIS across all departments. A key priority is to strengthen the onboarding experience of new staff through a tailored induction video series that reflects the regional context, values, and policies of the organization.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a> <strong>Background on the Project:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>As part of its JEDIS Strategic Plan, GP MENA is working to strengthen understanding and implementation of integrity systems across the organization. While integrity policies exist, there is a need to make them more accessible, user-friendly, and actionable for staff and volunteers. This includes simplifying complex policies and clearly communicating reporting mechanisms and procedures.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Objective: To produce a set of engaging and informative JEDIS and integrity induction videos that:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clearly explain the JEDIS terminologies, Code of Conduct, and other relevant concepts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support staff in integrating and mainstreaming these values into their daily work and decision-making<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They are accessible in Arabic, with English subtitles, and future adaptability for additional languages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Scope of Work<\/strong>: The Consultant will lead and coordinate the end-to-end process of developing the JEDIS induction video series, including:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Planning &amp; Stakeholder Engagement:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead kickoff meeting with JEDIS Working Group, Engagement Team, HR, and ED<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Map stakeholders and develop a detailed work plan with timelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Message Co-Creation &amp; Scriptwriting:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Facilitate workshops to co-create and prioritize key messages (intersectionality, equity, anti-racism, power &amp; privilege, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Draft inclusive, accessible scripts in Arabic (translated to English)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead review and validation process with internal teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Video Production Oversight:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate with videographer and voice-over talent<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure alignment with GP MENA\/GPI branding and accessibility standards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and approve final cuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Integration &amp; Monitoring:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support uploading videos to GreenNet (GPI and MENA sections)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><strong>Deliverables:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>5 professionally produced JEDIS induction animation videos (3\u20135 minutes each).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arabic scripts and English translations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feedback summary report with recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven experience in scriptwriting for animated videos, training or learning content design, and\/or strategic communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of JEDIS principles and demonstrated experience integrating them into organizational or institutional contexts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity to work both collaboratively and independently while managing tight timelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Familiarity with the socio-political dynamics of the MENA region and their implications for equity and inclusion work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior engagement with civil society, advocacy organizations, or movement-based spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of Greenpeace values and structure is an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Application Process<\/strong>: Interested consultants should submit:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CV or portfolio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brief proposal outlining approach and timeline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee expectations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Deadline for Applications: SundayApr 26, 2026<\/p>\n\n<p>Contact: Please send your application to: <strong><a href=\"mailto:hgpmena@greenpeace.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hgpmena@greenpeace.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This consultancy is a critical part of GP MENA\u2019s commitment to making our induction process more inclusive, accessible, and grounded in justice. A week in the office was never complete without some kind of activity that brought us together as people, celebrating our passion for life, hobbies and interests, and - I must admit, several practical jokes!
