Are you a student or recent graduate? Are you looking for the experience of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that works to save the world every day? We offer a small number of internships in Greenpeace MENA.<\/p>\n\n


GP MENA offers internship Programme possibilities with the main aim to achieve a mutual benefit to the Intern and to the organisation, allowing the
intern to learn and develop his\/her knowledge.<\/p>\n\n

Our goal is to provide our interns with:

\u2022 A better understanding of the organisation\u2019s goals and objectives
\u2022 Insight into how an international organisation operates
\u2022 Framework to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing personal and professional skills which will be useful for their future employment

Description<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Greenpeace MENA is seeking an Intern that will provide general support to the Communications Unit\u200b. This will allow the intern to develop new skill sets and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Greenpeace\u2019s media and social media work.<\/p>\n

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 Create content for Greenpeace MENA channels (social media posts, tweets, newsletter, blog, press release, video, etc..)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Translate materials into Arabic. Contribute to the editing of all Arabic content.
\u2022 Contribute to the content of the GP twitter account.
\u2022 Play an active role with the output team, by attending the editorial meeting and providing stories.
\u2022 Monitor social media trends happening in the region.
\u2022 Report media and social media stories about environmental issues happening in the MENA region.
\u2022 Conduct Quantitative and Qualitative Media Analysis.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Creative writing in Arabic
\u2022 Good background on social media platforms
\u2022 Basic skills in photography and videography
\u2022 Good background in media
\u2022 Willing to learn new skills and to share your skills with others
\u2022 Interest in and awareness of environmental issues
\u2022 Multitasking skills
\u2022 Teamplayer<\/p>\n

Qualification<\/u><\/strong>
Education: University Degree in Journalism, Communications, Arabic Literature, Translation, Audio-Visual, or Digital marketing or related field.
Language: <\/span>Fluency in oral and written Arabic is mandatory. Good English is required. French is a plus.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
