Objectives<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Are you a student or recent graduate? Are you looking for the experience of a\nNon-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that works to save the world every day? We offer a\nsmall number of internships in Greenpeace MENA.\n<\/p>\n\n

GP MENA offers internship Programme possibilities with the main aim to achieve a mutual\nbenefit to the Intern and to the organisation, allowing the intern to learn and develop his\/her\nknowledge.\n<\/p>\n\n

Our goal is to provide our interns with:

\u25cf  A better understanding of the organisation\u2019s goals and objectives
\u25cf  Insight into how an international organisation operates
\u25cf  Framework to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing personal and professional skills which will be useful for their future employment
\u25cf  An open and inclusive, multicultural, multilingual and multi-ethnic work environment, contributing to the development of mutual understanding, trust, and tolerance <\/p>\n\n

Reports To: <\/strong>\u200bCampaigns Department.
Duration:<\/strong>\u200b 3 months (renewable once)
Location:<\/strong>\u200b Beirut office

Description<\/span> <\/strong>
The intern will provide technical and research support to Greenpeace MENA\u2019s Campaigner. This will allow the intern to take part in the development of Greenpeace MENA\u2019s strategic, technical and scientific reports. <\/p>\n\n

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

\u25cf  Research work for campaigning purposes
\u25cf  Write and edit technical and scientific reports
\u25cf  Monitoring of external consultancies
\u25cf  Field support on training workshops and other events
\u25cf  Coordination of field activities <\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Requirements<\/span> <\/strong>
\u25cf  Excellent research skills 
\u25cf  Knowledgeable about key environmental issues (climate change, renewable energy, biodiversity…) 
\u25cf  Love working in a multicultural environment 
\u25cf  Comfortable with promoting an idea and defending an argument
\u25cf  Good multitasking skills 
\u25cf  Willing to learn new skills, and share your skills with others
\u25cf  Interest in and awareness of environmental issues <\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

Qualification<\/span> <\/strong>
Language: Fluency in oral and written Arabic is mandatory. Good English. French is a plus.<\/p>\n\n
