OVERALL PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

To ensure the human resources department\u2019s operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization within the region. Provide Support to the Organisational Director in all projects developed within the HR department.<\/p>\n\n

SCOPE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The post holder is line managed by the Organisational Director and will be responsible for leading the implementation of HR projects and HR strategies to meet organisational objectives.<\/p>\n\n

RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

TALENT ACQUISITION <\/strong>Lead the talent acquisition process together with the Organisational Director to support hiring managers and secure a proper representation of the diversity of the region among our team. Ensure an effective onboarding program and integration of new employees.  Prepare Job Descriptions and support the Organisation Director in preparing and maintaining the Job Grading system, and update salary benchmarking for the MENA region. Secure the implementation and proper rollout of the new Talent Acquisition System. <\/p>\n\n

HR ADMINISTRATION <\/strong>Ensure that all employee records are completed and maintained according to labour law and GP MENA policies. Make sure that the HR information system is running smoothly and the employee database is up to date. <\/p>\n\n

POLICIES AND PROCEDURE <\/strong>Propose HR Policies and Procedures for review and sign off by Organizational Director<\/p>\n\n

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT <\/strong>Support the Organisational Director in the development and rollout of the \u201cLearning and Development\u201d programme for GP MENA team.  <\/p>\n\n

HR PROJECTS<\/strong> Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems at GP MENA.  Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters internally and externally.<\/p>\n\n

MONITORING & REPORTING<\/strong> <\/strong>Ensure staff database, organizational charts, and monthly\/ yearly HR reports are maintained and updated. Help in developing and analyzing the Employee Engagement Survey. <\/p>\n\n

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION (D&I) <\/strong>Lead with the support of Greenpeace MENA leadership team the practical implementation of Justice, Safety and Diversity (JSD) initiatives at GP MENA. Develop D&I action plan for the office. Train the Management team and staff about best D&I practices. Provides support, \u201cD&I lens\u201d to all local Greenpeace units on D&I related matters such as recruitment, onboarding, training, communication, social media, supporter journey, campaign design, actions & operations. Conduct D&I surveys.  <\/p>\n\n

GLOBAL INTERACTION <\/strong>Work with the global HR community with the guidance of the Organisational Director to standardise the systems in place by GP MENA. Work with the Diversity & Inclusion group for developing new policies\/procedures and systems for the implementation of the JSD initiative.<\/p>\n\n
