Nour Abu Dhabi la plus grande centrale solaire au monde<\/p><\/div>\n

1er juillet 2019 – Abu Dhabi, \u00c9mirats Arabes Unis – Greenpeace au Moyen-Orient et Afrique du Nord (MENA), f\u00e9licite l’inauguration \u00e0 Abu Dhabi de la plus grande centrale solaire ind\u00e9pendante du monde, Noor, qui constitue un pas important dans la qu\u00eate des \u00c9mirats de diversifier ses sources d’\u00e9nergie loin du p\u00e9trole.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Julien Jreissati, charg\u00e9 des campagnes \u00e0 Greenpeace MENA, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u00abNoor Abu Dhabi devrait devenir le symbole de la nouvelle \u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire dans le Golfe Arabique\u00bb. L’usine a une capacit\u00e9 de 1117 m\u00e9gawatts, alimentant environ 200 000 foyers et permettant d’\u00e9conomiser environ 7 millions de tonnes d’\u00e9missions de carbone chaque ann\u00e9e. Noor Abu Dhabi rejoint la liste des m\u00e9ga centrales solaires de la r\u00e9gion MENA, telles que Noor Ouarzazate au Maroc et le parc solaire Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum \u00e0 Duba\u00ef. “Une fois encore, l’ambition et la volont\u00e9 d’innovation des \u00c9mirats Arabes Unis montrent la voie \u00e0 suivre”, a-t-il poursuivi. \u00abLe p\u00e9trole a \u00e9t\u00e9 un formidable vecteur de d\u00e9veloppement dans le pass\u00e9, le prix \u00e0 payer a \u00e9t\u00e9 lourd sur notre environnement et notre sant\u00e9 en raison de ses \u00e9missions dangereuses. Il est maintenant temps que les \u00e9nergies renouvelables prennent le relais pour assurer un avenir durable, prosp\u00e8re et sain pour les \u00c9mirats Arabes Unis et la r\u00e9gion \u00bba conclu Jreissati.<\/span><\/p>\n
