The consequences are profound, leaving areas without power and clean drinking water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this agricultural town, the toll on life is staggering, with around 9,000 animals lost, including 500 beehives owned by Spiros. Adding to the misery, oil spills from residential and business tanks, along with garbage from landfills, worsen the environmental catastrophe.
