The narratives written here exemplify how people-centered programs co-created with people from communities affected by disasters, can strengthen and tailor-fit their disaster response to the urgent needs of the community. The topics in this report focus on food systems, housing and shelter, inclusive mobility, planning with people, and community-managed DRR initiatives. This publication aims to serve as a toolkit for other organizations and LGUs from which they can adopt ideas and sustainable practices suited for their own communities, as we continuously work toward long-term and systemic solutions.

DOWNLOAD YOUR COPY OF THE TOOLKIT

The toolkit is a collection of stories from Greenpeace’s partner organizations and local government units (LGUs) that found grassroots initiatives and solutions to some of the challenges in a disaster response.

"p4_og_title":"","p4_og_description":"","p4_og_image":"","p4_og_image_id":"","p4_seo_canonical_url":"","p4_campaign_name":"","p4_local_project":"","p4_basket_name":"","p4_department":"

4
25,6],"p4-page-type":[15
post-59646","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-society","tag-democracy","tag-climate","p4-page-type-publication
["GET
