Volunteer coordinator (full time)
Your new job
You will direct and oversee the planning, development and implementation of Greenpeace Romania´s national volunteer program, you will develop the volunteer program in consultation with Office Director and colleagues within GPCEE and the global organization. You work closely with the engagement unit, campaign and comms teams to ensure that the volunteers contribute and are included in plans and activities. You will organize meetings and trainings and events with and for the volunteers in Bucharest and other cities. You represent Greenpeace Romania and act as first point of contact for external queries/requests to the local team about participation of our volunteers on external events. You monitor and manage the volunteer budget for the work throughout the year. You participate in campaign planning and contribute to the overall activity of the Romanian team.
Your profile
You are a dynamic, organized ninja, who like challenges and interacting and motivating people. You value professionalism, communication, negotiation and team spirit. You have good written and verbal communication skills, both in Romanian and English and you value diversity, innovation and inclusion.
You are not afraid of databases and are connected to social media and other platforms.
You have experience in volunteer coordination, fundraising and public activities, you were a volunteer in the past and you have a driver’s license.
