The letter calls on Sri Lanka to assert a strong, principled position that reflects its reality as one of the world\u2019s most climate-vulnerable nations while facing a deep debt crisis. It urges the government to demand grant-based climate finance, meaningful and accessible Loss and Damage support, accountability from polluters, and reforms to global climate finance systems that currently deepen inequality. The letter also highlights the importance of protecting community rights, indigenous knowledge, food and water security, and Sri Lanka\u2019s proven traditional solutions.
