Enquire about volunteering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Around 15,000 volunteers around the world help us to do everything from painting signs and organising local marches, to dropping banners and occupying oil-rigs. Ever wanted to become an activist? In some countries, our regional offices provide training to people who want to become activists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After days of working under the heat of the sun and pelting rain, award-winning Malaysian artist Lee Hui Ling and her students revealed a new mural in Kuala Lumpur’s historic Chinatown district.\n\nDubbed as “Wings of Paradise,” the mural is part of a global Greenpeace campaign to highlight the plight of Indonesia’s rainforests, currently under threat from destructive palm oil production.\n\nImages of the “Birds of Paradise,” one of the most iconic species of Indonesia’s Papua forests, are now part of the Kuala Lumpur landscape.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What do our volunteers do? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Greenpeace volunteers are involved in many different types of activities: from research to organising demonstrations; from public speaking about Greenpeace campaigns to building beautiful \u2018artivism\u2019 installations or kayaking or climbing in a non violent direct action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are many opportunities to volunteer in a way and for the campaign you are most passionate about.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
