Ist\u00e4llet gl\u00e4ds vi \u00e5t att vi alla \u00e4r olika. F\u00f6r vi vet att dessa skillnader g\u00f6r oss starkare.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>V\u00e5r vision f\u00f6r j\u00e4mlikhet, m\u00e5ngfald och inkludering p\u00e5 Greenpeace Nordic<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Den planet\u00e4ra krisen vi lever i, med klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och massutrotning, p\u00e5verkar alla. Men den drabbar s\u00e4rskilt de mest utsatta samh\u00e4llena med begr\u00e4nsad makt till sitt f\u00f6rfogande. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r kr\u00e4ver klimatr\u00e4ttvisa ocks\u00e5 social r\u00e4ttvisa. Det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 genom en m\u00e5ngfald av perspektiv som vi kan hitta l\u00f6sningar till de sv\u00e5ra fr\u00e5gor vi arbetar med. Vi str\u00e4var efter att vara en organisation som<strong> b\u00e5de bjuder in <\/strong>och <strong>talar till alla<\/strong>,<strong> <\/strong>oberoende av bakgrund.<\/p>\n\n<p>Vi vill ha en<strong> intern kultur<\/strong> som omfamnar m\u00e5ngfald och \u00e4r inkluderande. Det f\u00e5r vi genom att ta vara p\u00e5 de likheter och skillnader som g\u00f6r varje person unik. Vi vill ha en arbetskultur d\u00e4r m\u00e4nniskor k\u00e4nner sig trygga och kan vara sig sj\u00e4lva, tala \u00f6ppet och s\u00e4ga emot. D\u00e4r alla och b\u00e5de kan ge och f\u00e5 feedback. Och vi vill ha en kultur som blomstrar av b\u00e5de kreativitet och uppfinningsrikedom. Oavsett bakgrund och roll ska m\u00e4nniskor trivas h\u00e4r, och vi vill att alla medarbetare p\u00e5 b\u00e4sta m\u00f6jliga s\u00e4tt ska f\u00e5 anv\u00e4nda sina individuella styrkor f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rsvara livet p\u00e5 den h\u00e4r planeten.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Som individer <\/strong>tar vi personligt ansvar f\u00f6r att beh\u00e5lla en \u00f6ppen inst\u00e4llning, \u00f6va upp v\u00e5r sj\u00e4lvk\u00e4nnedom och reflektera \u00f6ver v\u00e5ra \u00f6vertygelser, f\u00f6rdomar och privilegier. Vi tar emot feedback med \u00f6ppna hj\u00e4rtan och \u00e4r medvetna om att vi sj\u00e4lva \u00e4r ansvariga f\u00f6r hur vi agerar i v\u00e4rlden. <strong>Som organisation <\/strong>tar vi ansvar f\u00f6r att systematiskt unders\u00f6ka hur vi kan \u00f6ka m\u00e5ngfalden samt ompr\u00f6va v\u00e5ra rutiner och arbetss\u00e4tt f\u00f6r att fr\u00e4mja en inkluderande kultur.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>V\u00e5r ambition <\/strong>\u00e4r en organisation med m\u00e5ngfald och att inkludering och r\u00e4ttvisa inte bara ska finnas bland v\u00e5r personal och i v\u00e5ra beslutsprocesser, utan \u00e4ven som grund f\u00f6r v\u00e5rt arbete med allierade inom milj\u00f6- och r\u00e4ttviser\u00f6relserna och i v\u00e5ra kampanjer, deras inneh\u00e5ll och taktik.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Olika s\u00e4tt att fr\u00e4mja j\u00e4mlikhet, m\u00e5ngfald och inkludering (ED&amp;I) i Greenpeace Norden<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vi har en ambiti\u00f6s handlingsplan f\u00f6r ED&amp;I-arbetet som tydligt visar v\u00e5ra prioriteringar och de konkreta steg som vi vill ta f\u00f6r att utveckla v\u00e5r organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alla medarbetare bidrar till att driva denna agenda, men vi har ocks\u00e5 en s\u00e4rskild grupp, v\u00e5r \u201cED&amp;I Task Force\u201d, som utvecklar och genomf\u00f6r f\u00f6rslag som leder oss fram\u00e5t mot att bli en mer m\u00e5ngsidig och inkluderande organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alla Greenpeace-anst\u00e4llda genomf\u00f6r obligatoriska kurser om att visa respekt p\u00e5 arbetsplatsen, och alla nyanst\u00e4llda f\u00e5r en introduktion till v\u00e5rt ED&amp;I-arbete.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vi h\u00e5ller regelbundet workshops och samtal f\u00f6r att \u00f6ka medvetenheten om \u00e4mnen som antirasism, intersektionalitet, omedvetna f\u00f6rdomar, privilegier, osynliga funktionsneds\u00e4ttningar med mera.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vi har ett ED&amp;I-bibliotek och andra resurser f\u00f6r sj\u00e4lvstudier tillg\u00e4ngliga p\u00e5 alla v\u00e5ra kontor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vi har inf\u00f6rt en mer inkluderande arbetskalender f\u00f6r att sprida medvetenhet om den m\u00e5ngfald av bakgrunder v\u00e5r organisation inneh\u00e5ller. Vi uppmuntrar ocks\u00e5 alla medarbetare som \u00f6nskar detta att byta nationella helgdagar till dagar som b\u00e4ttre matchar egna religi\u00f6sa eller nationella helgdagar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>V\u00e5ra kontor i Norden har ett s\u00e5 kallat \u201c<em>Peace<\/em>-room\u201d som kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r meditation, b\u00f6n, vila eller reflektion (I Norge \u00e4r detta fortfarande under utveckling).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vi arbetar f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att v\u00e5ra policys och rutiner st\u00e4rker j\u00e4mlikhet och att de ska g\u00e5 l\u00e4ngre \u00e4n vad som kr\u00e4vs av nationella lagstiftningar p\u00e5 omr\u00e5det. Till exempel inf\u00f6rde vi nyligen<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-sweden-stateless\/2024\/07\/1fa8de99-menstruation-and-menopause-at-greenpeace-nordic.pdf\"> Arbetsplatsrutiner f\u00f6r menstruation och klimakteriet, <\/a>f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att alla medarbetare f\u00e5r det st\u00f6d som beh\u00f6vs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Som organisation har vi fortfarande mycket att l\u00e4ra och \u00e5stadkomma p\u00e5 v\u00e5r ED&amp;I-resa. Vi \u00e4r inte perfekta och vi har fortfarande en l\u00e5ng v\u00e4g kvar att g\u00e5. We believe that a diverse culture brings richness to any organisation and that inclusion is required to unleash the potential of diversity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>We do not discriminate on the basis of age, ancestry, citizenship, colour, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, national origin, political- or union affiliation, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic. Rather we aim to celebrate our differences knowing it makes us all stronger.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Our vision for Equity Diversity &amp; Inclusion at Greenpeace Nordic<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The planetary crisis of climate change and mass extinction affects everyone, especially the most vulnerable communities with limited power at hand. Climate justice is also social justice. Only through a diverse set of minds can we find solutions to the issues we are dealing with. Therefore we strive to be an organization that<strong> invites in <\/strong>as well as <strong>speaks to everyone <\/strong>no matter their background.<\/p>\n\n<p>We want an<strong> internal culture<\/strong> that embraces diversity and inclusion by celebrating the similarities and differences that make each person unique. Where people feel safe to be themselves, speak openly, disagree, give and receive feedback, creativity and ingenuity flourish. Regardless of our backgrounds and roles, people are able to thrive and make the best possible use of our individual strengths to defend the planet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>As individuals,<\/strong> we take personal responsibility to come with an open mindset, practice self-awareness and reflect on our beliefs, biases and privileges. We receive feedback as a gift&nbsp; and are accountable for our behavior and actions. <strong>As an organisation <\/strong>we hold ourselves accountable for systematically looking at ways to increase diversity and re-assessing practices and procedures to enhance an inclusive culture.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Our ambition <\/strong>is to be diverse, inclusive and equitable in our staff representation, in our decision-making processes, with our allies in the larger environmental and social justice movements and in our campaigns, content and tactics.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Different ways we promote Equity Diversity &amp; Inclusion (ED&amp;I) in Greenpeace Nordic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We have an ambitious ED&amp;I Action Plan that indicates our priorities and concrete steps we want to take to evolve our ED&amp;I agenda.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All our employees help drive this agenda, but we also have a specific group; the ED&amp;I Task Force, that explores, discusses, develops and implements proposals that can make us advance on our journey to become a more diverse and inclusive organisation.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Greenpeace employees are required to attend courses on showing respect in the workplace, as well as an introduction to ED&amp;I.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We hold regular staff workshops and talks to continue educating ourselves and raising awareness on topics such as: anti-racism, intersectionality, unconscious bias, privilege, invisible disabilities and more.\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have an ED&amp;I library and resources available in all our offices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We have implemented an Inclusive Calendar to spread awareness and further enable inclusivity. We also encourage our employees to switch National holidays (bank holidays) to days that better match their own religious or national holidays, should they wish.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our Offices have a <em>Peace<\/em> room that can be used for meditation, prayer, rest or time to reflect (Norway is still in development).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We work to ensure that our policies and procedures support equity and go beyond the national legal requirements. For example, we recently introduced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-sweden-stateless\/2024\/07\/1fa8de99-menstruation-and-menopause-at-greenpeace-nordic.pdf\">Menstruation and Menopause procedure <\/a>to ensure all employees get the needed support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>As an organisation, we still have a lot to learn and accomplish on our ED&amp;I journey. We are not perfect and we have a long way to go.
