To protect biodiversity and the functioning ecosystems that are vital to our well-being, we must reduce and ultimately halt our destruction and degradation of natural habitat. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is now 18 months since Greenpeace published its in-depth report \u2018Wiping away the boreal\u2019, which highlighted SCA\u2019s role in continuing to destroy \u2018High Value Forest Landscapes\u2019 in Sweden, as well as SCA\u00b4s aggressive expansion of plantation monocultures using an invasive and alien tree species (Contorta pine). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since this report was published, Greenpeace forest campaigners, and several of SCA\u2019s largest customers, have engaged in numerous meetings with your company to seek clarity on how your company intends to address these ongoing forest conflicts.
