Det \u00e4r verkligen n\u00e5got som beh\u00f6vs. Transportsektorn st\u00e5r som helhet f\u00f6r 25 procent av EU:s utsl\u00e4pp av v\u00e4xthusgaser men j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen st\u00e5r endast f\u00f6r 0,4 procent. Men trots att det \u00e4r ett klimatv\u00e4nligt alternativ \u00e4r det bara bara <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/sv\/headlines\/eu-affairs\/20210107STO95106\/2021-europaaret-for-jarnvagen\">7 procent av inv\u00e5narna i EU som v\u00e4ljer t\u00e5get<\/a> framf\u00f6r andra transportmedel och endast 11 procent av all godstrafik sker p\u00e5 j\u00e4rnv\u00e4g.<\/p>\n\n<p>Kr\u00e5ngliga regler, sn\u00e4v nationell h\u00e4nsyn och subventioner av flygtrafik \u00e4r n\u00e5gra sk\u00e4l till att j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen inte \u00e4r det dominerande trafikslag som den borde vara.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<p>Sverige beh\u00f6ver g\u00e5 i br\u00e4schen f\u00f6r <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/sweden\/bakgrund\/46524\/fem-punkter-for-en-hallbar-infrastruktur\/\">en h\u00e5llbar infrastruktur<\/a>. Greenpeace har tagit fram en f\u00e4rdplan f\u00f6r en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/eu-unit\/issues\/climate-energy\/45007\/new-roadmap-to-decarbonise-european-transport-by-2040\/\">utsl\u00e4ppsfri transportsektor f\u00f6r hela EU till 2040<\/a> &#8211; vad vi beh\u00f6ver \u00e4r inget mindre \u00e4n att <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/international\/story\/45030\/time-to-transform-transport\/\">transformera transportsektorn!<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Den 3 juni samlas EUs transportministrar f\u00f6r att diskutera unionens infrastruktur.<\/strong> Inf\u00f6r detta viktiga m\u00f6te kr\u00e4ver 36 milj\u00f6organisationer i Europa b\u00e5dskande och konkreta \u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r att stimulera en ren\u00e4ssans f\u00f6r t\u00e5gtrafiken i Europa och p\u00e5skynda \u00f6verg\u00e5ngen fr\u00e5n flyg- och v\u00e4gresor till j\u00e4rnv\u00e4g.<\/p>\n\n<p>Greenpeace har skickat brevet till infrastrukturminister Tomas Eneroth. H\u00e4r f\u00f6ljer de fem kraven.<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>G\u00f6r ett \u00e5tagande om minst 30 nya linjer f\u00f6r snabbt\u00e5g och natt\u00e5g p\u00e5 befintlig infrastruktur mellan \u00e5ren 2021 och 2025 och genomf\u00f6ra skyndsamma servicef\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar s\u00e5 som en gemensam Europeisk tidtabell f\u00f6r t\u00e5gtrafik.<\/li><li>Starta ett finansieringsprogram f\u00f6r interoperabla t\u00e5gset inklusive sovvagnar.<\/li><li>G\u00f6r delning av realtids- och biljettdata obligatoriskt f\u00f6r j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsoperat\u00f6rer.<\/li><li>G\u00f6r resor med t\u00e5g billigare och enklare \u00e4n att flyga genom att avveckla flygsubventioner och kortdistansflyg samt att minska banavgifterna f\u00f6r internationella t\u00e5gresor.<\/li><li>\u00d6ka offentliga investeringar f\u00f6r att \u00e5tg\u00e4rda existerande infrastrukturbrister och modernisera befintlig infrastruktur.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/static\/planet4-sweden-stateless\/2021\/05\/0b64e2b7-open-letter-to-eu-transport-ministers-before-council-june-2021_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">H\u00e4r kan du l\u00e4sa brevet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EU har utsett 2021 till det europeiska \u00e5ret f\u00f6r j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen f\u00f6r att uppmuntra fler att v\u00e4lja t\u00e5get som transportslag.
