As part of the campaign against single use plastics, Greenpeace in Croatia set up a 6 meter wide \u201cPlastic Wave\u201d structure at King Tomislav Square in Zagreb. Citizens took photos with the wave throughout the day, holding banners \u201c#NoPlastic”, “More Mediterranean, Less Plastic” and others. This campaign was launched together with Spain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria with the aim to fight single use plastics and the plastic pollution, with the focus on the Mediterranean Sea. The \u201cPlastic Wave\u201d was created by the Spanish office and was already set up in Valencia, Spain and then it traveled to Croatia.

Marian Ledesma from Greenpeace Philippines picks up pieces of plastic trash from the company Dove around Freedom Island at Las Pinas, Philippines. This wetland part of Manila bay called Las Pi\u00f1as \u2013 Para\u00f1aque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA) is a 175 hectare protected area. It is always filled with plastic trash that comes from the ocean.
