The Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University\u00a0offers scholarships and career training to libertarian students.\u00a0Charles Koch is the Chairman of the IHS board of directors.<\/a><\/div>\n

Mother Jones<\/em> called the Institute for Human Studies a “haven for climate change deniers.<\/a>” Several climate deniers have prominent positions at IHS, including:\u00a0 Robert Bradley,<\/a> member of the Academic Review Committee and author of Climate Alarmism Reconsidered<\/em> (2003)<\/a>; and Fred Singer<\/a>,\u00a0 Research Professor at IHS.<\/p>\n

A number of climate deniers who share affiliation with other Koch-funded organizations are guest lecturers for IHS. Examples include Bruce Yandle<\/a>\u00a0of Clemson University, among Charles Koch’s\u00a0most-funded universities, who also serves as Senior Associate\u00a0with the Property and Environment\u00a0Research Center<\/a> (PERC). Another example is\u00a0Kenneth Green<\/a>, Resident Scholar with the\u00a0American Enterprise Institute<\/a> (AEI) and the defunct Environmental Literacy Council<\/a>, a group that pushed for\u00a0teachers to present climate science as controversial.<\/p>\n
