In that period, Koch Industries spent over $22 million on politicians at the federal level.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Koch PAC Funding of Federal Political Campaigns<\/h2>\n<div class=\"happen-content article-content\">\n<div class=\"text\">\n<div>\n<p>Koch PAC heavily favors <strong>Republicans<\/strong>: 99% of its contributions have gone to Republicans during the\u00a0<a class=\"zoom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/pacs\/lookup2.php?strID=C00236489&amp;cycle=2014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2014 election cycle<\/a>; 98% went to Republicans in the <a class=\"zoom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/pacs\/lookup2.php?strID=C00236489&amp;cycle=2012\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2012 cycle<\/a>.\u00a0 KochPAC also heavily favors\u00a0<strong>Republican Party<\/strong> committees and leadership. Since 2009, KochPAC gave:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a class=\"zoom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/pacs\/pac2pac.php?cmte=C00236489&amp;cycle=2014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">$105,000<\/a> to the <strong>National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC)<\/strong>, plus a total<a class=\"zoom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/indivs\/search.php?name=koch&amp;state=&amp;zip=&amp;employ=&amp;cand=national+republican+congressional+committee&amp;c2014=Y&amp;c2012=Y&amp;c2010=Y&amp;sort=D&amp;capcode=wpwyr&amp;submit=Submit+your+Donor+Query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">$360,100 directly from Koch family members<\/a>: Charles, Elizabeth, David, Julia and Chase Koch (Charles\u2019 son).<\/li>\n<li>$90,000 to the <strong>National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC)<\/strong>, plus <a class=\"zoom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/indivs\/search.php?name=koch&amp;state=&amp;zip=&amp;employ=&amp;cand=national+republican+senatorial+committee&amp;c2014=Y&amp;c2012=Y&amp;c2010=Y&amp;sort=D&amp;capcode=hyhx8&amp;submit=Submit+your+Donor+Query\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">$360,662 directly from the Koch family<\/a> (excluding Bill Koch of Oxbow Carbon).<\/li>\n<li>$70,000 to the <strong>Target State Victory Fund<\/strong>, which routs federal money to state Republican committees.<\/li>\n<li>$30,000 to the Republican National Committee.<\/li>\n<li>$30,000 to the <strong>Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>$15,000 to the <strong>Congressional Trust 2010<\/strong>, set up by the NRC, NRCC and NRSC to \u201cmake sure this Democrat majority pays the price for the radical and unpopular agenda it is imposing.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>$15,000 to the <strong>2009 Senators Classic Committee<\/strong>, another fund for major Republican candidates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, Koch owns <strong>Georgia Pacific<\/strong> and <strong>Flint Hill Resources<\/strong>, employees of which now give money to Koch PAC.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a0\">Koch Family and Individual Political Contributions<\/h2>\n<p>Charles Koch, his wife Elizabeth Koch, his son Chase Koch and David Koch and wife Julia Koch spent over <strong>$922,000 in individual political contributions from 2004-2010<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the 2010 election cycle, the Koch brothers and their spouses spent <strong>over<\/strong> <strong>$363,000 in direct contributions to political campaign committees and party committees<\/strong>.
