In a testament to the power of people, Trader Joe’s is committing to reducing the amount of single-use plastics in its stores!<\/span><\/p>\n

Good news! People power is making a difference on plastic pollution! Trader Joe\u2019s is listening to YOUR concerns and announced a plan to eliminate 1 million pounds of single-use plastic from its stores in 2019!<\/p>\n

Plastic pollution is destroying our oceans. It’s harming turtles, whales, fish, and every part of the ocean food chain. There are already over 5 trillion pieces of plastic in our oceans \u2014 and the equivalent of one garbage truck worth of plastic enters the oceans every minute.<\/p>\n
